Only just got around to looking at this, listening now. Thank you so much! 😊

I've not listened to the other version in ages so I'm not sure I'll spot any differences.

There are quite a few differences. Most noticeable is that Madfiddler's solo is punched up more in this mix.

Quote from: reqwrieom on April 08, 2020, 04:24:20 PMI'm hoping that gr8gonzo helped you in getting that.

Point of inquiry, I was able to search for and find both Exhibit A and Fathom on your site, but only through the search function. What's up with this, and also how did you manage to get mp3s of these?
I've messaged him, hopefully he can follow my over-complicated upload procedure!

Same procedure as sending the EIMA podcasts to the DLBN server. A 16 minute song uploads a lot faster than 3 hours worth, though. :)

I know. ;)

It is not. I didn't know there was a 2017 version! Got any info on that?

Tis on the TPE Remaster. I got mine from Miss Nellie's shoppe at the time (there's a thread on here about it, iirc). Alas, it doesn't seem to be available anymore. I don't have Dropbox anymore, but if there's somewhere other than email to send the beastie, please let me know. Happy to share.

All the best to Bleavors in his future endunders. Or something. :D

Frost* does seem to have taken on a tinge of Spinal Tap with its "different drummer on every album" motif, not that that's a bad thing. Keeps things fresh. Much as I'd love the see NDV in the fold in some capacity (like HE has any spare time lol), perhaps I'm not quite ready to speculate on a replacement just yet, as the body's not even gone cold, so to speak. Few have the chops to fill Craig's stool *erm*. Time will tell.

Other Bands / Reign (with TBE and JJ)
April 20, 2019, 04:33:54 AM
In case you missed it, Andy announced that he and JJ are part of a new band called Reign, along with Rob Groucutt (whom Andy also plays with in Kundabuffa), Bev Bevan (ELO), and Joy Strachan-Brain (Quill).

Best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Forever. May you enjoy a lifetime of happiness together, and may you one day actually see this post. :)

Philly - Thanks for making a respectable man out of him. ;)

Has anyone passed the news on to Jem? This is all his fault, after all.

In the spirit of discovering old stuff lying around in dusty computer corners, I found a copy of my New Year's message from that show and, since the link I posted way back then is now dead, I just uploaded it to Soundcloud, here.

Still epic. ;D

I still have ALL of the Frost*ie messages. :)

*tap tap* Is this thing on again? *cough*

Hello again all. I have just uncovered a DVD I made from my old computer whilst this show was on. It starts during track 10 with me farting around with my desktop getting everything up and running, including the chat window :) I can't remember how long I recorded for but I'll find out soon and update this post. [2.5 hrs Ed.]

If I can get my PC to let me do some FTP I'll be sending a copy to Drarok for his voluminous virtual tote bag of Frost* memorabilia, in case it's of interest to anyone and/or I lose it again.

That would be great, Smart. I've had a fair few requests for that show, which was sadly lost in the great PC snafu of 2013. I'm pretty certain someone has that episode, just not anyone who is likely to pop in here. Happy to be wrong.

Frost* is cruising once again in 2019. Will any of you be attending this time around? If you missed NDV's epic performance with the boys at Rosfest in '09, now's your chance.

Frost* / Re: Others EP? Was it just a cruel lie?

A studio version of TFYS already exists, but who knows? He's been known to rework tracks here and there.

Also interesting that he mentions "Clouda" is next, as that wasn't among the tracks he listed for the Others EP (Heart of Violence, Fathers, Waiting For the Lie, Eat, Fathom, Drown, Exhibit A).

As I sat in my Shackletons chair
With Fox's, a town it does share
Wearing shoddy and mungo
Talk-ing mumbo jumbo
I got pissed a la devil-may-care

Can wanking affect your vision?
