Have announced a date at Hammersmith Apollo next October.  :D

More details here

The website is currently showing the date as 9th while the link to the ticket agency shows it as the 2nd...

I saw that too! Having ranked the O2 gig in my top 5 gigs of all time, I'm very keen to get along to this one too.

It's a rubbish time to put tickets on sale though, just before Xmas. I don't understand why they've put this on sale a full 10 months early... and it's all seated too so if I wait until I am a bit better off I will end up with a rubbish seat.

I am tempted to sign up to the new preferential treatment thing but again there's no guarantee of your seat, they say you'll be in the front 8 rows of the stalls or the front 3 rows of the circle but you could end up right at the end of a row off to the side which would annoy me. I suppose I'm being over picky here!

The good news is that it says the tour will be to support a new album (although it doesn't say if it'll be out by then or not.)

I got my tickets through Ticketmaster, but we're up in the circle as the stalls tickets available were already showing as Row Z!

I'm surprised it's all seater, I would have expected a standing event at least dowstairs. I haven't bothered with ROABP, but maybe this is a way to attract more people to join if they're promised preferential treatment...

The first 8 stalls rows and the first 3 circle rows are reserved for ROABP members. ROABP has just been resurrected.

I'm going!!  :D  :D

Philadelphia

I really don't want to have to get a ticket this far in advance - I don't even know which country I'll be living in when this gig takes place.
I'll wait and try to get to 4-5 other PT gigs on that tour, I think. (:-)

BeyondThePale

Porcupine Tree is one of those live bands that never ever fail to disappoint. I saw them twice, once just prior to them recording Fear of a Blank Planet, and once on the tour supporting it. I saw the entire album played live twice. Phenomenal shows. Steven Wilson is a true genius.

I can't wait for them to come stateside again, I'll be getting tickets asap
