Coool.

Any chance of uploading the track somewhere discreetly? 😉

I'm open to suggestions and I know how to click an "upload" button...

"Storm Driving" is a gentle little track, pretty underproduced compared to the rest of the album, likening its subject's tendency to evade and ignore external stresses to driving through a storm.  Jem on vocals, the whole song sounds like it could be all Jem and no one else.  Three minutes, thirty-seven seconds.

For my ears, it fits best between "Skywards" and "Kill the Orchestra" -- a brief calm before the real 16-minute storm that closes the album in fantastically Frosty fashion.

I thought it might be the extra track on the Japanese release but apparently that one is "Storm Driving"   ???

Storm Driving!? Where can I find this 'Jem'?

I remember this track being mentioned in the Podcast last year.

Cheapest for the JAPAN BLU-SPEC CD2 version at the moment is on Ebay for £30 incl postage.  Will probably come down later

Being an incorrigible sucker for elusive single tracks, I broke down and bought one of those copies on eBay last night.  Will happily share reactions here, once I receive the disk...

Hasn't Jem remarked that this was [1] originally part of the Clouda project and [2] involved the same woman who sings on "Lights Out"?  Tori Beaumont?

Other Bands / BLUNDERS!
October 22, 2019, 10:30:11 PM
I had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Blundell before the Steve Hackett show in Oakland, California, this past Sunday night. Wonderful down-to-Earth guy, and an amazing, powerful, propulsive drummer.  His performance all night was spectacular, with the highlights for me being "Dance on a Volcano" and "Los Endos."  I hope any other Frosties on this side of the pond get a chance to see him play when he comes back through with Hackett early next year.

In the meantime, he mentioned that he's going to be recording drums for another musician I'm sure many of us know and love...  but asked that the name be kept quiet, for now.

Thanks very much.  I'm happy to report to the mods that it was a successful birthday and I've decided to go for another 50 years.

Yep, it's gone now.  It was listed right above the Cruise to the Edge gig.

I knew a Frost* gig in own state was too good to be true.

Frost* / Frost* in Ventura, CA, on 5-Oct-2018?
September 02, 2018, 07:19:18 AM
Friends, I am desperately confused...  This concert is listed on John Mitchell's Live Dates page (http://johnmitchellhq.com/live-dates/), and the band info appears correct on Songkick's page (https://www.songkick.com/concerts/33155134-exumer-at-majestic-ventura-theater)...

...but how could this possibly be our beloved Frost*?  Look at the names of the other bands under the headliner, "Exumer" -- "Destructor," "Midnight," "Night Demon"...

My head is spinning.  Can anyone make sense of this?

welcome, Kalypsa!  what's your favorite biscuit?

;D

Well, I'm in America (California -- still America, but there's sure to be another secession proposition on the November ballot), so I haven't had a proper British biscuit in years.  I'm partial to dark chocolate with sea salt and nibs of cocoa or espresso beans, if that helps explain what I've become.

Very nice to be here.

What happened to the Others EP?  Wasn't it supposed to be out Spring 2018?  Or did I imagine it?
