Realized too late that there's no thread about that event!
Soon, there'll be a break - and then 2 hours of a regular gig at Royal Albert Hall.

I just realised that apparently she is quite well known in the UK because the RAH seems quite packed ....
Oops, sorry...
Anyway, the "real" concert just started 1 minute ago.
And it quite fascinating...
Indeed! I just know her from that Jeff Beck DVD (live at Ronnie Scott's). But now I know why Jem (and some of you guys) praise her. VERY intersting!
Hope for a DVD of this gig tonight!
Thanks for the reminder. I only caught the last 20 mins or so but it looked really good.
I'm not sure the last song really work but when you take that much tech on stage you are really rolling the dice!
Well done Ms Heap. :)

My best guess is that this whole show incl.l the Love The Earth film and orchestral score will be released on dvd. What's the point in having all the cameras around only for a live webcast? It surprised me really to discover that the guitarplayer cum vocalist cum parafernalia was actually singer/songwriter Ben Christophers.
Immi was stunning last night. We were 5 rows back in the arena. She was funny, entertaining and gave her all. Top 5 gig for me.
