Pre-orders will run until 11th November when they will go to print as it will take quite some time to produce them and I'm sure everyone will want them in time for the December gig.

$42.17 for mine. Happy to have the shirt. Just crossing fingers that it's not made from the same itchy, lint magnet cotton my last several band shirts have been. My Spock's Beard X shirt was the worst of the bunch. Think they made that one from cheap wool and scabies. I'd gladly pay a premium for a soft, quality jersey-knit cotton (hint, hint).

Yeah, that would be pretty cool. I know some of them are 'Rush' fonts, a whole load of which can be grabbed from //http://www.2112.net/rushfonts/, the 'Catherine' one is similar to 'Kremlin' and 'DS' is the Disney typeface (I think).

It remains to be seen whether its just the band name font thats changing or the frosterisk aswell anyway?
I actually think the t-shirts stand on their own design-wise.
They aren't in the same vein as EIMA or Black Live Machine - they're unique.
The Frost*erisk on the forum t-shirts isn't like the EIMA spray one and the design will be a very limited and unique edition. The new Frost*erisk will be on the December t-shirts and if you get your orders in quickly enough (after the gig if you can't make it), I can zap them to you in time for Christmas (maybe not to USA etc). :lol:

Not quite sure what yours is (and am too busy, in principle, to play "Font Finder" this afternoon ;) ), but that capital N has more than a touch of the Futura about it. Always thought those below-baseline pointy bits were a bit weird in the medium version, although strangely they become "normal" flat bottomed stanchions in the bold version.
Stanley Kubrick was famously a big fan of Futura Extra Bold, but appears to have gone off piste when he opted for that other very famous font, Gill Sans, for the intermission slide in the middle of 2001. It says something very profound (or trivial) about me that I was very taken with the latter when I saw 2001 in a cinema in Cambridge a number of years ago :shock:

In fact my wife tracked down all of the band (thanks to Craig's son for pointing them all out to her ) and press-ganged them all into signing it for me. OK, they're very definitely not cheap and you also need to factor in the cost of a visit to an audiologist to get some moulds of your ears made, but for a perfect fit, they're fantastic.
I actually don't have the ear plug variety, but have Elacin moulds for my Etymotic ER-4P earphones and it's on that basis that I can recommend Elacin's moulds in general. Indeed, while Elacin makes the moulds, Etymotic makes the attenuation filters in those earplugs, and Elacin also resell standard earplugs from Etymotic that are very likely to be good, as well as a damn sight cheaper:

Anyone close to the speakers should use plugs, the levels are meant to be spread out across the room, and standing too close is potentially dangerous. I was way back, and even I plugged my ears just to be safe. I'm used to it, so maybe I'm a bit sensitive, but I won't risk any damage to the mixing ears, higher frequencies drop out fast when you're exposed to loud volumes over time. Ringing ears is a sign of overload.
Custom plugs are great, they don't mess up the sound at all. It's worth the investment :)
Just a guess but I'm thinking that the reason I didn't find it too loud was that I've already f'd up me lugs!!
