Great gig - I put a photo up last night here which got some nice retweets and faves when I tweeted about it; https://www.flickr.com/photos/jamesdavies/14703051039/

I also assembled some work-in-progress thoughts on the gig in a sort-of-review (kind of improvised in the spirit of the evening :)) here - http://www.zogue.com/blog/2014/gig-review-steve-lawson-andy-edwards-and-jem-godfrey/

Plus I also have some video of the first half of Jem's bit - I can put it on the world's most popular online video sharing platform if that's cool, but I will try to seek approval first!

I was sat with Jake and his missus down the front - nice to meet you dude. Sawtooth, where were you? I stood around for a bit in my previously-agreed Frost* teeshirt near what I thought were a bunch of forum guys (you can't miss Pedro in his named shirt for example) but I couldn't seem to get an "in" to say "hi", so the long drive back beckoned me away.

Anyway, as I said in my "review"..."for a Sunday evening musical gathering it was about as far away from a "blues jam" as you could imagine, and was truly 21st Century improv showing what modern music technology could do".

I'm very much hoping to see more of this sort of stuff!

I'm glad to hear so many Frost*ies were in attendance. And doubly glad that the performance was recorded.

Andy - I think if you announce you and Jem are skipping stones on the Thames, you'll have an audience.
I´m  in :-)
Would that be a cover of ripples?

A couple of (noisy) photos here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10204595265539812.1073741832.1179575202&type=1&l=a850387f89

Apologies for being a right miserable git and hardly talking to anyone but the 180 mile journey home had to take precedence to socialising.
A fabulous evenings entertainment, just wish it was a little closer to home!

I think everyone here knows the JIB fambly go above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to distance travelled to gigs John, so there's never need to apologise for having to make a swift exit! Lovely to see the three of you again, hope the next time comes around sooner rather than later  :)

I think I have mostly recovered from my man flu now. The nurse said it was a virus. Ebola is a virus. Make of that what you will. I do hope nobody has managed to catch it, I wasn't sneezing or coughing or anything like that on Sunday so I think you're all pretty safe.

Anyway I was reminiscing and I just remembered Jem's epic biro solo, excellent work.

I think that's what the nurse was thinking to be honest!

John Young has a new project called Gigpledge which allows fans, bands and venues to collaborate and make things happen. Worth a checking out.
