Hurrah! Changing the default theme (How can that be default is beyond me) also gave me the option to reply to threads. I saw no button on the other one, or any method to interact at all. Unless you changed it the exact moment when I changed theme.

I looked there and I swear I didn't see a change option.  Maybe I'm getting old
