Toys / Re: Dear Dead Days quick solo at the end..
February 04, 2009, 03:51:17 AM
spent about 30 minutes earlier trying to learn the part at 5:50 and have it almost.  Some notes I am certain about, and some I am not so sure..like the last run, I have no idea what to do there. All I know is that the run ends at a Bb     Im gonna try to keep working on it and hopefully get it in either guitar pro form or make a video

note that i got really lazy with it.  I got to the solo and didnt want to figure out all the timing..but atleast i got the main notes that the beginning of the solo starts out on     Also when it gets to the chorus, for some reason i couldnt hit the really low notes, and thats why it sounds the way it does

well i can tell you the beginning part is A-D-F#-G-A-G-F#-D

thats all i know tho

but yes this would be nice.  Choosing one song and just trying to figure it out rather than having many songs all sporadically trying to be figured out by  ear

Was watching the Frost Report August and saw that at 6:53 he plays the solo from DDD.  I was gonna try to figure it out and post a video.  Does anyone know what hes playing on that fast run at 7:12 though? cant tell if he is doing a certain scale or what

I always love to hear the early version of a song and then have the final album version to hear later.  Dont know if any of you had heard this, but was the first thing I had ever heard by Frost that made me instantly fall in love.

It has Wonderland and Falling Down in there and also the song from the Special Edition DVD.    I think in Wonderland they dont say "Milliontown," instead they say "another town" in this version.  Pretty funny :D

Ah, I'll stop teasing.  When you finally see your package in the mail after a long day, it'll have been worth all that waiting.  Your heart will burst with joy and you'll begin to frolic merrily.  At least, that's what I did

I ordered my special edition yesterday..but I have the option of listening to it all right now on Rhapsody..I dont know what do

Quote from: "Narek"Great job weezul! If you could send me the GP file I could continue the rest.

Like I've said in the old forum I've begun working on transcribing EIMA, Falling Down, Wonderland, Toys, Milliontown and Snowman. So hopefully we can combine all of our transcribing powers and get some Frost* GP files, powertabs, PDF's etc.  :D

:)  When you finish those you better post them  :P   I have GP5 and always learn stuff from it
