Just a suggestion but does this forum do sticky?
If so how about putting all the necessary info in a sticky with a big header so new people looking for info can get everything they need to do in one easy to find spot/step?

Just my two cents..

A locked sticky would be a sticky (a post that "sticks" to the top of the list so you see it first when entering the sub-forum) that is locked (so that it gives information but people cannot post replies to it). This way people who just want to know stuff can get to the info without wading through thigh-deep derails, heated agreements and biscuit-related trivia....  :)

I think people are only trying to suggest things that might help. Only you and the gang can assess if things like stickies would help with the process. :)
