My youngest came up to the bedroom at early o'clock this morning and announced to us "Mummy / Daddy, it's Xmas Day!" - now when I went to bed last night I could have sworn it was Nov 22nd - surely I haven't been asleep for a month, wtf is she talking about??

I went downstairs, looked out the window and lo and behold, there was snow on the rabbit hutch, snow on the decking, snow on the rooftops, snow on the shed and snow on the trees.

It's snowing.

My wife is a native Floridian and tells me she saw it snow here...once... in 1979.  It didn't stick.
