Can anyone confirm that I am not going insane and that there is extra guitar at the end of BLM? Or has it just been turned up?

If you're talking about the one in the last 30 seconds up until the very end, then no, it's always been there. There are so many tiny improvements, though I'm not sure if I can hear them all. I've picked up on the obvious ones and in general I feel the album is better balanced (less compressed), as a few others have mentioned.

Overall a well worth investment and obviously a great way to support the band directly. It'll be fun comparing this to the upcoming re-recorded album and again with the originals.

Also, props to E.S. and his incredible mix of The Other Me. That thing is seriously catchy!

Gigs / Two free tickets for tonight
December 16, 2012, 01:57:50 PM
I've got two spare tickets for the gig tonight if anyone's willing to take them off my hands. I won't accept money for them, but I feel they should go to Frost* fans at least. I will be at the White Lion pub for some pre-drinks, so just ask if you see me there. I don't have mobile web here, so it's a little late for PMs now.

Can't wait till tonight! See you all there :)

Cool, a place to gather. I'll be there with a friend, and I also have two spare tickets to the gig which I'll happily hand out to a fellow Frostie* in need. Greatly looking forward to Sunday!  :D

How dedicated a thread do you need?

(See above)

I see your point! And I will of course be wearing my finest Frost*wear for the evening. Staying classy and all that. And a pint in hand to complete the outfit ;)

'Ello, chaps!

I'm still lurking about, and I've been keeping an eye on this. I can now confirm a booked flight for London as well as tickets for the gig (hoping to bring a few friends along). This won't be my first time, so I'm up for a pre-gig meeting if such activities are being planned. Last time I met up with Vitamin P and some other guys, which was pretty nice.

Hopefully someone more organised will make a dedicated thread once December draws near :)

At last year's Peel gig, he asked if I had used a black marker on mine. The guy's got a sense of humour, all right!

This has made my day! I saw it on his blog before coming here and I literally gasped as read the news.

Now to find a way to attend the Christmas gig...

I'm leaving from Guildford at 2 pm due to fear of delays and whatnot. Should I be good on time I will try to pop by for some food and company before the gig.

Thanks, Pedro.

At least I've been to the Peel before, so I'll try making it for that gig as well :)

Cheers!

Edit: Have booked tickets for both gigs now. Prog on!

Hi all.

I'm studying in Guildford and have Fridays off, so I'm in a perfect position to join up for whatever pre-gig festivities you are planning. I'm not very familiar with London, though, so I'd need some directions.

Also, am I mistaken if I thought there is a second Christmas gig (in London)? I haven't really been looking as I kind of expected some information to be posted on the front page.

As I am typing this (and booking my ticket), I realise I lost the digital code generator for my debit card so I will have to find another way to book it... Hopefully before anything is sold out.

Looking forward to next month, fellow frosties!

Greetings!

This is good news for me as I was wondering whether or not I was too late with my submission. I did not get any kind of confirmation that they got my mail, so my question is: are they supposed let us know we have entered the competition? If so, I suppose I will have to send another email. I've already checked to see if I sent correctly.

I'm probably getting worried over nothing, though.

Oh, and count me in on wanting to see a gallery of the contributions!

Thanks, Pedro. I've submitted my design and I hope they still accept submissions, as I did see Craig saying "a few more weeks" nearly three weeks ago. Can't hurt trying, at least. Thanks for the tip, guys :)

As was suggested to me by Roger, mooncat and Pedro, I've just submitted my own design. I just hope it's not too late, but to be honest this is just an added bonus if I can participate since I wasn't even aware of it in the first place.  ;)

If you haven't seen it yet, look it up in this thread.

Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback, guys :) But now you've got me curious about this competition, seeing as a Google search didn't reveal anything. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Cheers!

Thanks for the kind words :) I was doing this project for myself, but if just one Frostie likes it enough to download/use it, then the effort was worth it.

And to Jim, in order to solve the maze, simply remember that All roads lead to Frost* and you should be fine ;)
