Me-too.

Still??

Me too... ho hum.
Just to reiterate what I'd said in an earlier post.  I ordered via CRS (big mistake!) before the shop here was up and running.  TLD has been very helpful and tracked down my CRS order, which had not been forwarded by them previously.  This is what she emailed last night -

"We are expecting delivery of cds this week, (we ran out at the end of last week), but have to get the band signatures on the vast majority of them so I expect the end of next week will be the earliest I can dispatch them. Once again I am sorry for the wait but I will send all the CRS order queries asap."

So if, like me, you've ordered a signed special edition via CRS, don't hold your breath!  It will probably be early December before you receive it, from what TLD has said.

Yes - send a PM to TLD and ask her to check that CRS have forwarded your order.  I did that last night and she very helpfully let me know today what the situation was - namely that CRS had not passed my order on.   :(

JJJ and TLD are doing a great job but they simply can't process orders they haven't been given.

To add insult to injury, I got the credit card bill today for the 'service' which CRS have provided - not impressed.

I've given in too - another victim of CRS, I'm afraid. I so wanted to hear the album properly on CD first but I couldn't stand reading all the comments here any longer.  So I paid £3.50 to download the 5 tracks I didn't already have from Play.com and cobbled together my own version of EIMA!  The secret song isn't available to download there and I only have the tour / MySpace versions of the other 4 tracks so there will still be some surprises when the real thing arrives eventually.

I have to echo the comments regarding Dear Dead Days -WOW!  :D I mean this in a good way but it sounds like the best song Dream Theater never wrote.  The studio version of Toys sounds great and Welcome To Nowhere is another winner, but not a good track to listen to in the car due to the dynamic changes - nearly took my speakers and eardrums out...  (pardon?)     Saline is gorgeous and sounds like a modern day version of some of the best tracks from the Trick of the Tail / Wind & Wuthering era of Genesis, which is a very good thing in my book.

So now I just have to wait.  Got a couple of nice emails from JJJ and TLD today so I know they're on the case but really they shouldn't have to be - they have enough to do currently.  I heard tonight that the end of next week will be the earliest TLD can dispatch them... ho hum!

A PM seems to work quite nicely ;)

Question is, does James mean "Private Message" or does PM in this case stand for something entirely different...?
It takes a whole afternoon to get her to respond?

Nope, you have to get the Prime Minister to contact her, on your behalf :D
What, Gordon Brown (texture like sun)? We are all screwed then....

No more screwed than we already are !  .. Is this a hyper thingy ?
No, you don't want to be creating another one of them.

SERIOUS ??!!! He's really doing that? That's amazing ! Met Billy Sheehan in Glasgow a few weeks ago and was was amazing, really down to earth and all that, wish though he had the time to do the 'bass lessons' though....now this is an E, that string is an A....etc, am I being too technical?
Yes, and he's taking his Ibanez Paul Gilbert guitar along, both to play and get signed - BIG fan boy!!  He just spend well over a grand on a Fender Strat Eric Johnson signature model, to add to his collection of 16 other guitars.  He takes his guitaring seriously!!!

Oh, and a bass lesson with Billy Sheehan would be the low register equivalent in terms of scariness.  When he and PG used to shred out together in Mr Big, watch out.     Isn't it a shame they only get remembered for the icky rock ballad 'To Be With You' in the same way Extreme mainly get remembered for 'More Than Words'?

Great tracks, thanks for sharing them.  They're interesting too as they show which parts of Across The Line are more likely to be your writing / playing.
When's your solo album due then?!  ;)
