Title: Infinite Response!
Post by: MarkOneMusic on July 29, 2010, 11:17:54 PM
Anyone else seen THIS?

http://www.infiniteresponse.com/ (http://www.infiniteresponse.com/)

Poly aftertouch, colour touchscreen 7 octaves, and best of all.... It FOLDS IN HALF.

It would go in the boot of the SLK - Yay! :)

Downside is it's $3000. :(

Eddie Jobson has 2.

Yeah I've seen it before. Silly price.

BTW, I can make your Korg OASIS look like this! Free of charge!  ;)

Anyhow, the really crushing news is that Roland and Ultimate have both discontinued the V-Stand which would happily hold a keyboard at a comfortable standing hight and fold into something small enough to tuck into the boot of a car, so a keyboard that will do the same is pointless now, since all the other stands out there are the size of box-girder bridges and laugh when they see my boot.

I'd rather say "justified price", considering the materials they used, and completely different technology for poly aftertouch.

It has a weird pitch bend thing on the side of the chassis. I did sign up to be informed of it's release date way back in 2007 when it was first mooted and was very enthusiastic, but they never bothered their arses to honour their side of the bargain so bollocks to 'em. I hope it splits in half. Oh...
