Awesome easter egg for long time fans on "The Boy Who Stood Still"... :)

Listening to it this morning and that really stopped me in my tracks.
Was there anything like a similar concept in that song and "The Boy Who Stood Still" or has my mind made that up?

Really interested that the review speaks of influences from The Police and I'm reminded that John & Jem were talking about The Police a bit in the podcasts recorded during their writing sessions.

Also curious as to why those podcasts disappeared...

Been slowly working my way through the CDs in the last few days.

Pretty much of a similar mind on most of the things that have been said so far:

EIMA mix is really good, sounds a lot more natural and gives everything a bit of space. Love that 'The Secret Song' is a separate track now.
At first was a bit confused about 'BLM' & 'The Other Me' being swapped around but once again it gives the listener time to catch their breath.
Shame about 'Nice Day For It...' Think I'll slip the 2016 version onto my iPod in its place for the time being.

Has anyone else's book got a misprint?
In the lyric sheet for 'Welcome To Nowhere' the lyrics for 'Experiments In Mass Appeal' has been printed again.  :o

Rather wish that I could have been there to see that live but a Frost* report of it is the next best thing so it's all good.  ;D

I was certainly pleased to find out that my previous guess was wildly off.  ;D

My guess would be that the EP is turning into album 4, or that it has taken a bit of a back seat in favour of the things that D S mentioned above.

Either way, radio silence from the Boss Man is usually a sign of good things to come.  :)

I think 'Clocks Go Back' eventually evolved into The Raging Against The Dying of the Light Blues In 7/8

Yes, wasn't it also a potential name for the album after '6 Minutes in September' was decided against?

As for 'Exhibit A' and 'Heart of Violence', I would suspect the fact that they've not been shared would be down to the possibility of them being used in a later release, Album 4 maybe?

All things considered I enjoyed the Edinburgh gig and thought the lads were on fine form.
Loved hearing some Kino and It Bites tracks in the Twats set.
Sad to hear that the venue didn't pull their weight.
Big thanks to the band for taking the time to come and play, it's always really appreciated.
Shout out to Nellie and the rest of the crew, you guys do a great job!

that would make a great film soundtrack teaser. I wonder if Jem has ever been asked to do one?

If I recall correctly, Jem did do work on songs that featured in the film about Eddie the Eagle that came out this year(?).

I was wondering if the music that featured in the teaser video was an excerpt taken from the extra track on the Falling Satellites vinyl, can any of the lovely Frosties* that owns the vinyl confirm?

Fripp is a bit of an enigma wrapped in a conundrum at the best of times.
That being said I'm a huge fan of King Crimson

I got a photo of Nathan that I think sums him up perfectly.
(Apologies, I don't quite understand how to work the insert image bit so it's just as an attachment  :-[ )
