Should I get my coat ?

No! That's a good song, nothing wrong with that at all.
Yep.
A previous incarnation of our band used to do a half-decent cover of that. Complete with Audience Participation doing the "Oh-wAAH! Oh-wAAH!" bits (in truth, only because we couldn't find a synth patch to do it).
Great fun.

Ha .. I wanted to do it with my last band but the rest of the guys were saying " an Osmonds song ... are you insane ?"

This is a relief, this has been a guilty secret of mine for a while now, I thought only prepubesant teenagers from the 70's would have liked it !
... it was like watching a peach jelly f##k a steel drum ..

Quote from: "Jem"I'll probably be tied to a horse and run off a cliff for saying this but...

I just bought the second Evanescence album and I really like it.

I've never really gone for goth rock before, but there's some really lovely moments.

It's a wicked album!! Also check out Within Temptation on Roadrunner. Simply AWESOME!!!! Live they are mindblowing  too. Go on check em'. :D

My Guilty secret although not since the broadcast is ELO!! I love them!!!!! ;)

Lerxst

ELO - love 'em.
Outro to Mr Bluesky - pure prog heaven  :o

I used to listen to ELO's "Out of the Blue" album over and over when I was 11 or 12 years old.  Years later, I remember picking up a GH CD and being ticked that it didn't have "All Over The World" from Xanadu.  Yeah, you heard me.  Xanadu.

Wouldn't it be more of an embarrassing secret to NOT like ELO?
...and I can feel the world is turning...turn around

Dodie

Erm, I'm not that keen on ELO

I'm not entirely sold on Beethoven either. But there's always the possibility that one day I'll realise what the fuss is about with ELO. Funnily enough, the one song I've always liked is "Here is the news"...

I can't bring myself to liking the Osmonds for various reasons, but Neal Morse's new kick-ass cover version of "Crazy horses" is damn fine

I've been listening a lot recently to Ray Charles, Nina Simone and Nat King Cole - but I don't consider any of those to be remotely embarrassing!

Cheers

Sometimes I find myself singing Frontin' from Pharrell...

You talk
You think you own me
You miss the point completely
These things I do they\'re not for you
I\'m sick and I\'m tired
Leave me alone...

TV theme songs are evil once they get into your head.

I'll see your "Three's Company" and raise you "The Jeffersons."
...and I can feel the world is turning...turn around

Actually, I'm not familiar with either of the two, but I've heard that damn song somewhere and remember enough of it to now be forced to blast EIMA on the headphones to get rid of it. Poor me. (;-)

Captain and Tenille's "Love Will Keep Us Together". Woohoo.
I was a victim of goose-flirting the other day.
This bleeding great goose came up to me and wanted a light.
I said no.
Goose, there\'ll be no flirting today.

Quote from: "eponymous"And another thing... wouldn't "Forsaken" from DT's "Systematic Chaos" sound better with Amy Lee on vocals?  It's practically an Evanescence song anywho...

I'll get me kevlar coat...

WOW that was low....... but you have a point. James needs to hang the hat up when it comes to that range.
