For some reason, 15 June got locked into my head, and all evidence to the contrary (the tickets, photos, Mike's birthday) was insufficient to unlock it.

It's very much a case of "Too many inputs, Mr Mozart" at the moment, I'm afraid.

At the very least, they are playing Reading on the 15th so maybe that's what caused your wires to get crossed?
Bring on the Trumpets!

Ahmm.

Excuse the interruption. But I happen to have tickets to Bilston. Will any of the "old crowd" be in attendence?

Quietly slips away for another 5 years.........

Not sure I appreciate being called old, but I too have a ticket for Bilston.

DueyC, I think the Shedster means 'mature' :D. So that counts me out seeing as I'm immature.
Nonetheless I shall be there at Bilston with my Mothy chum Pete Jones. Look forward to seeing you all, I really, really cant wait :-)

Hmm, using that quote from Peter Shaffer's play (or was that line just in the film?) was rather poignantly timed on my part. RIP.

Less than a week to go now!  ;D
Come on, you\'re a lion!

Right you lot, get your Reading tickets before it's too late.
Edinburgh is totally sold out.
Wath is looking tight and nearly sold out, Bilston is ok at the moment as it's huge but there's usually a good walk-up so might be worth getting tickets if you're planning to come.
Bristol is ok at the moment but it's on a boat and will be supercool!
London is sold out and Cambridge is not far off selling out.
Don't leave it too late as you will be disappointed.

I'm gonna make biscuits :-)
It's in the post!

Bristol is on a boat? Awesome

OK, time to get serious, folks. Has anyone picked a meeting place (preferably with fermented malt beverages on tap) in Edinburgh for Friday this week?

D S

Will get my thinking cap on.  The Rose Street Brewery is nearby and has good ale.  8)

The Guildford Arms is just round the corner, but does tend to be pretty busy (as does the main bar at the venue itself), but as DS hints, Rose Street and it's many pubs isn't that far away.

No idea when I'll get through for, but hopefully will run into a few of you at the venue, though I suspect it'll be pretty crowded :)

MikeEvs

I get to Edinburgh on Thursday evening so whatever time you want to meet on Friday is fine with me  ;D
