The support for this gig is Romain Thorel, he of Lazuli fame. Romain will be performing a solo set of his own material.

There's only a handful of tickets left for this gig. Don't delay if you plan to go.

quote from Dingwall's website:

"***NEWS***NEWS***
As you will all appreciate, we've taken a few days downtime... but we haven't forgotten...
The incredible offer from Frost* is still open for bids: you and a friend will be able to star as an extra (including dressing up!) in the filming of the complete Falling Satellites album 'in concert' but there won't be an audience there... just you!! Filming will take place across two days some time in October (date to be confirmed), in Surrey (venue to be confirmed)."

Doesn't sound like it

Nellie?
That was for the suction lot for Trinity Live which has been won.
The Dingwalls show will be filmed as part of the same DVD.

It's already half sold out so get your skates on!

Isn't that the whole point of an auction?

I can't see a thread about this event so will start one anyway.

John Mitchell's Lonely Robot will be headlining at this charity event held at Leamington Assembly this Saturday with a full 1 hour 30 minute set featuring material off the new album.
The band is Craig Blundell on drums, Steve Vantsis on bass and Liam Holmes on keys with John, of course, on guitar and vocals.
Please check out the Trinity Live website for information and tickets.

There will also be an auction of some brilliant items donated by some mega artists including a VERY special lot from our very own Frost* boys.

Is that the official new name for TILT, or is it to be read as an acronym?

If so, how rude!  :P
No, there is already a band with that name and they are also fabulous

To promote the new Lonely Robot album, The Big Dream, John Mitchell is joined on stage by Craig Blundell, Steve Vantsis and Liam Holmes for 3 UK dates in August. Support comes from the FABULOUSLY AMAZING TILT. The London show will also see Kepler Ten opening the proceedings.

Please show your support by buying tickets and helping to spread the word through gossip and social media. Things like this won't happen without the help of the fans.Thank you!

Saturday 19th August - The Islington Assembly, London
Sunday 20th August - Thekla, Bristol

Edinburgh was the worst attended, mainly because the venue didn't advertise it at all. They won't play there again, especially after the way the band and fans were treated.

Well, I hope you mean they won't be playing The Liquid Room again, rather than Edinburgh more generally: I always enjoy visiting my old city, and if Frost* are there too, all the better.

It did seem pretty sparse: I estimated about 100 or maybe 150 only. Obviously, that's not great from a financial perspective at all, but I did at least think the crowd responded positively and loudly to the excellent performance by the band. So in that sense, it was very good, but of course, not good if not financially viable.

When you say "the way the band and fans were treated", was that just in reference to being kicked out pretty rapidly afterwards, to clear the venue for the subsequent dance night? Or were there other issues?

Anyway, again, you can be sure that everyone in the room enjoyed the gig, and so I'm very grateful for you and the band making the trip.
It'll be quite some time before they play any gigs but I think it will be Glasgow for the Scotland slot next time. I love Edinburgh but the venue let us down.
The disco load out was hampered by the staff putting equipment in the way of the stage instead of helping the band and crew make a hasty exit. The security staff were very rude and threatened violence to some of my friends who didn't leave quickly enough.
The sound system, however, was amazing and the band and fans were fab!

The tourette was brilliant and thanks to all those who came out to play. I think the boys played the best they've ever done and we all had a proper laugh.

Anyone who missed out on t-shirts will be happy to know that I've just ordered a load more in olive green and dark heather (whatever that is) which will be on sale this week for dispatch whenever they arrive. I'm also going to order some black and white baseball type long sleeve shirts with the Falling Satellites design on the front.
Friend me up on the book of faces or twitter for updates.
