A VW! Cool!  I made a trip to the north up the M1 this weekend and on my MP3 player's shuffle mode it kicked in with Milliontown, and though I didn't make a note of exactly when it started it was ending as I approached the exit for the M62.  On that journey north I often wonder what that very worn bit of text spelling "Couranga(?)" means/is for on one of the bridges - any ideas?

On the return journey shuffle mode picked out Suite Charlotte Pike too, but it sounded strange not being part of BAF.  Shuffle mode is weird like that.  Or is it listening to music that's weird?  Maybe I'm just weird.

Took me a minute or two to remember what it said, we had a lot around here

Quote from: "Eddie McCabe, Liverpool UK"I have seen posters with the word ''Gouranga'' plastered on road and rail bridges around the country for many months. Recently I have seen posters around town with the phrase ''Say Gouranga and be happy''. Who or what is Gouranga?

Quote from: "Pete, Brixton""Gouranga" is a Hare Krishna mantra meaning "be happy". I imagine it's Sanskrit.

I can't see the link Mikey!  I get asked to log in.  Thanks for the clarification of "Gouranga" though!

I think the linkery-misbehaviour it's almost certainly you being not me for sure.  But that's okay.  :D I think I saw it all by checking your blog anyway.

I saw a funky little Renault Kangoo today which must have been similar to Nemo. Sadly I have no pics.  Of course this is the internet, and I'm aware that there are of course people out there who like a bit of fetish, like uniforms (and why not?).  So for anyone still following this thread and excited by rubbery 4 wheeled things, I present the following - http://www.flickr.com/photos/maistos/4667052422 (entirely safe for work of course so long as you don't let on that you are excited by commercial vehicles).

Rather on the dirty side for my liking, and rather close up too!  But I have been thinking regularly about vans.  Seen a nice VW Caddy recently, and I would love a Nemo too.  Of course I need these not, so...no van for Jim D yet, but I can dream on!

As we near the end of the year, it is interesting to note that I got BAF and The Whirlwind at the beginning of the year and they were an almost permanent fixture in my weekly listening until about September, when they tailed off.  Need to get the other Transatlantic LP I think, but for now the recent IB stuff has been whetting my whistle quite nicely and has provided travelling at the speed of prog nicely in my occasional journeys up the M1.
