Quote from: "Pedro"I've now got Little Big Planet 2 and the potential is HUGE because they have included lots of tools for making in-game cut scenes which are much more geared towards cinematic creation. One day (goodness knows when though) there will be another video....if only I had the time....

Ooohhhh I vote for BLM or Pocket Sun!

TDL, clearly!

Definitely TDL! ;)

It's open again. Or... something is at least. Strange...

And here I am the only one thinking it's the other way 'round.

That first cover looks like it means something. It's hard judging by the tiny size, but it's looks like it's painted very well. Lighting's decent and there's enough going on to keep your attention. As for using a chick with a gun on an album cover, meh okay. Still, I could post at least 10 album covers WAY worse than that.

The second is just some overused 90's effects thrown together, creating some abstract Photoshop concoction. Tentacles, orbs and glowing stuff? Come on.

Comic relief, my pick:

Good to hear from you Jem. Take as much time as you need. I don't think anyone in here will doubt how busy you really are. Frost* is a very spontaneous band imo, which reflects in the music. If you start going on an infinite album release cycle, the creativity will surely be sucked out of it. Make the songs when you've got time and ideas. I'm pretty sure all the lovely Frost*ies will still be here whenever there's something new for them to listen to. :)

For now, take care of yourself first! :D

This guy is so talented! Unbelievable... And mostly self-taught. Truly a genius.

I have Vai Piano Reductions no. 1. I believe it's all Mike Keneally who plays it. Recommended for anyone who hasn't heard it yet.

Quote from: "AndreasK"Hahahaha.... my webhost noticed that I didn't actually have a website and was just using them for file storage... APPARENTLY that's against their rules so they closed my account.... :(

I'll get the finished version up as soon as I find a better webhost and get that set up. :)

You could always use MySpace or SoundCloud or something. :)

Thank you very much gonzo! :D

I had to mix it all on my PC, because we couldn't afford any fancy professional mixers or anything. It was my first time mixing live recordings, so it took me a while to get the hang of it. Learned a lot from it though. I'll probably do better next time, if I ever choose to take on such a project again.

Michael Hutchence, hm never heard that comparison before. But I do agree with you. There's some resemblance in there. All Things is my favorite as well. First song we wrote together in the new line-up. We've been playing together since last winter, so we still have a long way to go. But I'm quite satisfied at the pace we're going now. :)

Thanks for the input! It's very valuable to me.

Friends Of Frost* / My band's debut EP is out.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to take a quick moment to plug the release of my band's self-produced, first EP. Considering we were on a budget of roughly 250 euro's, I think we did okay. :)

The music is mainly rock, with hints of other genres thrown about. I like to think we have a bit of our own style. It's hard for me to compare it directly to other bands.

Anyways, we're on http://www.stroave.com. For a more direct listening/download link, go to http://stroave.bandcamp.com

Any comments are much appreciated. Thanks!
