So? Waddya think? I'm not really into that kind of music, but I love this album, honestly.

When I think of it, this may turn out to be the shortest thread on the forum, I feel like I'm playing Highway to Hell in church.  :P

It's progressive in it's own way.
So much dance music is produced with a real musician nowhere in sight, but this album has Nile Rodgers and Omar Hakim from Chic featured on it and actually plating stuff. 'Regular' music fans have been quoted as saying - who's the guitarist, what a great groove the album has and I agree.

If in doubt, I'll fall back to my usual comment comment - there are two types of music, music I like and music I don't - this album falls into the former catagory

Omar Hakim?!?!?
He's a demi-god!
And something of an idol of mine in my teens, when he was with Weather Report.

Yeah the playing is just excellent on every level. Technically this isn't super advanced, but it takes a certain class of musician to make it groove like that, and so effortless.

Not to say there aren't any muso moments, there's something as rare as drum and bass solos in there. Not a lot of that in pop records. :D

It's 70s disco funk, isn't it? I like it.  8)
