I just wish there were more appetite from synth manufacturers to do something new...

I know they are giving the market what they perceive it needs, and the world is obsessed with old analogue gear...


... but re-releasing a 70s design?

Did all the synth designers just up and die in about 1990? Because there has been little real innovation since then.

Well, did you check Elektron Analog Four? It does have some cool ideas.

Also, Schmidt 8-voice is innovating, at least in a no-compromise concept. There's no analog synth with THAT kind of structure, for sure!
