Title: Little Boots
Post by: tomskerous on May 16, 2009, 12:08:18 AM
As first highlighted by Mr Godfrey back in January, (//http://thenewcube.blogspot.com/2009/01/1980s-i-was-there-first-you-bastards.html) that Victoria Hesketh is bloody amazing. Anyone else see her doing 'New in Town' on Later Live? It's up on the BBC iPlayer if you've got access - about 8 minutes in. Looking forward to the extended show too!

Rather loving the new album, it must be said.

There's a few tracks that may either be filler or growers - I'm waiting to see, but there's some dazzling highs too.

Although the guest spot from Phil Oakey was rather like going into a time tunnel...albeit one that has better reverb these days.

She was on Friday Night with Jonathan Woss, and while I wasn't really a fan of her, she uses a Tenori-On live, so she's cool in my books.
