This is a shameless plug for a guitarist mate of mine, I've worked with him in the past, and he's just released a collection of guitar instrumentals called Timeline which some of you might like. You can tell he's got a lot of love for Vai and Satriani, but he's a bloody talented bloke and deserves a bit of success I reckon. Hope you like....

The album is available on itunes at:

He's good, and no mistake.

Now... is there any way to buy his stuff without having to use iTunes? I hate it. A lot. And don't want it sullying my PC.
Bandcamp, perhaps?

He's on Spotify, Emusic, HMV Direct, Napster, Amazon etc.
Apparently, 'Timeline' is really old stuff he's just got round to releasing. He's also heavily involved in teaching , and a new collection called 'Numbers' is about to be released as a teaching aid to his students, where each track is in a different time signature.
If you're interested further, have a look on http://www.platinum-records.co.uk/#/nei ... 4535181403 where you can see him in action improvising against a couple of loops, and listen to excerpts from his newer stuff.

Now all I've got to do his tap him up to see if he wants a keyboard player when he goes playing the stuff live (although he seems to cover 95% of the stuff using his guitar!)  :D

Neil Kellow's latest album Numbers is now available, originally intended as an educational tool for his guitar students to get to grip with different time signatures. It can be previewed or downloaded on iTunes, Spotify, Napster, eMusic, Zune etc.
Tracks 5, 7 and 9 have some nicely proggy timings going on there, although the material is basically guitar instrumentals, not songs per se.

Have a listen on http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/numbers/id452981941

I'm not on commission for the above plug, he's just a mate of mine and I'd like hime to have a bit of success!  :D
