I doubt I'll be there until 8. However you will be able to recognise me as I'm going to be wearing a Fallen Satellites t shirt.

Should be easy to spot you then.  ::)

Today's the day. :) So reading back through all that, did we settle on a place for potential pre gig drinkies? Lol

I'll be in Woody's from about 6.30.
I know what you look like Peter so will make myself known.

Good morning Frost*ies.
I have been reading the reports from you of the gigs so far and must admit to being genuinely exited to see the lads live for the first time.
As the time till the Bilston gig gets ever closer I was wondering if any of the attendees have arranged a place for a pre gig tipple.
If so where? I presume Woody's bar next door to the Robin 2 is the obvious choice, but if anybody has any other ideas please let me know.
Also do Frost*ies have a secret way of revealing their identity to each other or set up camp with a flag in the corner of the room or what?

Thank you all for the good wishes.
Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I was doing birthdayish things yesterday.
Hope to meet some of you at the Robin 2 on Sunday.

John.  ;)

My little boy also likes the new album. He likes all the albums actually.

As a treat I'll be taking him to the gig at the Robin 2 in Bilston, as long as he promises to be good.

He should be ok though, after all he is 27.  ;)

Has anybody got any news on what's happening about replacements for the faulty ones ?

Tell me, Trapezium Artist, when you play vinyl whilst riding your bike do you balance the turntable on the handlebar or do you have a trailer?   ???

Perhaps you have one of these.............http://www.vincentbeijersbergen.nl/Feats-Per-Minute

I have played side 1 all through and only noticed one small scratch.
When I played side 2 there was a sort of "whoosh" noise even before the track had started. This noise is present when a patch, of what looks like some sort of liquid has been spilt and dried on from the edge of the disc to about half way through track 1, spins past.
I immediately rescued my prescious stylus from this torture and put the disc back to bed.
I haven't even played the second disc yet. Luckily we have the cd to play with.
As mentioned by ich_bin_besser my disc 1 also has black flecks moulded into it but disc 2 looks ok.
I sent a message through the Merch Desk's "contact us" page on Sunday but as yet have had no reply.

Thank you DueyC. After due consideration I think that out of the many biscuits I like my standard fall back is dark chocolate digestives.
See you at the Robin 2.

Frost* / Hello Everybody.
June 01, 2016, 07:34:00 PM
Hello all.

As the newest Frost*ie I thought it only proper to introduce myself. My first name is John and I live in the West Midlands. I only discovered Frost* about 4yrs ago when I heard Milliontown for the first time. It completely blew me away. Not since I was a mere lad in the 70's/80's with hair down to my arse and listening to /seeing bands the like of ELP, Genesis, Yes, Led Zep, Queen, Supertramp, et al, has a band had such a profound effect on me. I was begining to think that "progrock" was just regurgitating though countless bands with different names but using the same musical formula.
Frost*, to me, was like a breath of fresh air and after further investigation and finding Frost* reports, by courtecy of Drarok, I also found out that they are, like me, barking mad.
Anyway I will cease this rambling on for now and if any of you are going to the Robin 2 gig in Bilston I hope we can meet up for a flagon or two.

Tarrar a bit.

P.S. My copy of the new album on clear vinyl also has a fault on the first track of side 2. I have sent a message to Merch Desk/Nellie but had no reply as yet. Not to worry, sure it will get sorted.
