Every good band should have someone called Nathan on bass...  ;)

thanks!

I always preferred Bobby Kimball to Williams, but that's still a great band.

Oh, it was awesome!
VERY under-rehearsed, but wow, such fun! Must have been 1000 people there, and everyone went crazy.

Rock festivals means you get to meet a bunch of people... On our way out to the van, Zakk Wylde walks by and says "Go kill 'em, guys! Have a great show."
Had breakfast next to the Edguy gang this morning, sharing table with Pagan's Mind, and Alice Cooper was somewhere nearby.
Meshuggah provided light entertainment during dinner last night.

If schedules had allowed it, Zakk Wylde would actually have been onstage with us last night.  :o

Festivals are surreal.

Quite tempted by the Amsterdam gigs as I love the Paradiso as a venue having seen Steve Vai and the Metropole Orchestra there.

Will have to look at the logistics of getting from Brno (where I'll be between the 19th-22nd) to Amsterdam then home

I go to every gig I can, so far none this year. When you play out so much you miss a lot of dates, and frankly there are other things besides loud music and the smell of old beer in rotten carpets that tempt me more when I have some time off.

But I'm obviously going to a gig in London (that there Frogs*, Frust*, Frøst* or whatever plus Bits 'n Bites or something), and Circus Maximus tomorrow. So that's two for 2012. :)

Missed Marillion, Zappa, Vai, Holdsworth, Muse and probably a bunch of others too. Lack of time and money.
