Scritti Politti live gear

Not very proggy I know, but there is a brief article on Bibbly-O-Tek about how the old Scritti Politti material is being played live...

...I'm pretty sure SP are an acquired taste for many progsters, but I've been a huge fan since my teens (the Cupid and Psyche era) and have seen them live 4 times now, so pardon my indulgence here!.  But I figured it may have some interest to keyboard/MIDI heads anyway.

Interesting. This is not a band I had heard of, so I headed over to Youtube to check it out. Not bad at all!

Funny thing is my first "real" synth twas an Ensoniq TS-10. It had a patch called "Scritti Bass"  that I liked a lot. Now I *finally* know what Scritti refers to...

P.S. Heh. "Twas" was a typo, but I kinda like it, so I'm leaving it!

I still have my Ensoniq SQ-80.

And I still have the TS-10. The thing is a BEAST! Lots of other synths have been and gone (I miss you, Jupiter but I'm keeping that, and "the workhorse" (Korg Triton) till the end.
