Anybody here have any first hand experience with it yet?

yeh, I bought the thing for my birthday last December, I was not too impressed at first.

No multicolor display, no sequencing, no arps, limited sounds.

I've now grown into it.  Great sounds, very playable.  The electric piano sounds are excellent.  I've used it live a few times, I find it tobe really full and warm sounding.

It's the only weighted feel keyboard I have.  When you bang down on it,  you get a wonderful bite, just like a real Rhoads.  Having the favorite buttons right there makes changing sounds really easy.  I have found it to be an excellent addition to my workstations.

Some have complained about the breath of adjust in the amp models, but tweeking on the computer editor seems to work ok.

This board doesn't need that - it's totally up a different alley. And it's great in that alley!

You've got it evildragon,  it's definitely a different alley,  It took me a few months to travel down that alley, but once I did I quickly became an alley cat.
