Have been watching a whole lot of West Wing since I bought the complete series on dvd. It beats the living daylights out of anything that is on the Dutch tellie these days. WW together with Silent Witness and Spooks are really the only series that I like to watch these days and some of the (music) documentaries on BBC. Thank god by digital tv provider carries BBC 1, 2, 3 and 4.

But did you know that  Contraband was a short-lived supergroup/side project that included members of several famous rock bands from the 80s like Ratt, Vixen and L.A. Guns.

Contraband came to be after a Vixen and Ratt unplugged session on MTV. Schenker was a guest guitarist on that show.

The band released only one self-titled album in 1991 which received lukewarm reviews. The album was a commercial failure and the band disbanded shortly after, while touring with Ratt.

    * Bobby Blotzer (from Ratt) - drums
    * Michael Schenker (from Scorpions, UFO and Michael Schenker Group) - guitars
    * Tracii Guns (from Guns N' Roses and L.A. Guns) - guitars
    * Share Pedersen (from Vixen) - bass guitar

Lovely photos. Thanks for sharing. I have a question though. I saw in at least one of the pics that Dec has two cables plugged into his guitar. Why's that?! Is that some kind of custom modded EBMM JP model?!

I'm no guitar expert but doesn't that guitar have a piezo acoustic pickup too, and that has a separate output and that's why there's two cables :?:

Speaking of plates....is anyone else looking at the wall of new posts on here and finding it just incredibly overwhelming?

I didn't seem to have any trouble keeping up with the old forum (spinning all the plates, as it were) but now I just see entire dinner-sets of high quality crockery waiting to be given a spin....and I can't seem to raise the enthusiasm!  :shock:
