In conjunction with Frost*, Pimpco and the blessing of the wonderful lads at Mapex we are giving you an opportunity to design the finish of Craig Blundell's Mapex Orion kit for the forthcoming Frost* Gigs in December and all 2011 dates. The only criteria is that the colours are blue and white, the Frost* and Mapex logos are optional. The winner will meet the band at the o2 Islington academy on the 3rd of December and be Craig's tech for the evening. He or She will have their name "designed by" on the bass drum. The kit will be used for all the future Frost* tours.

What we need is a high res image of the drum surface either in PDF or JPG format, and Pimpco will create a wrap for the kit. The closing date is the 9th July 2010, send in your designs to mailto:sales@pimpco.co.uk">sales@pimpco.co.uk

So what are you waiting for? Send in those high quality designs and create the kit that you always wanted to see onstage with Frost*.....

spangly jacket - check
two kicks - check
wafting arms about trying to get rid of flies - check

right, off to the studio to rehearse.....!

that clip has done the rounds, although I'm not a fan of stick twiddling because it sounds crap on albums! that is great.....

ahhh the obsession with biscuits, I will get to the bottom of it..

Its been a killer week but i'm slowly starting to learn the parts for the tour and its coming together nicely. I've got a rather nice kit from Mapex that'll do just the job.

Andy has been a friend and a bit of a hero of mine for absolutely years back in the early Meinl days. I did my first clinic supporting him in 2002 I think, seems like a long time ago. Its a real honour to be learning his parts and listening back again this morning, the reason why I rate him as one of the best players on the planet...

Thank you all

re Mapex set up, no spoilers yet but will share in due course. I'm not sure about the Tech side of things regarding samples etc

one thing I can answer is a Bourbon wins hands down and in my mind, is the daddy of the biscuit world....

Hi guys,

firstly thank you so much for all your emails and kind words welcoming me to the Frost family. I'm absolutely thrilled to be asked to join the guys as I've been long time followers of their work. I know andy and nick really well and regard them as two of the best players on the planet so I feel flattered and I'm aware I have some huge boots to fill

for those of you who don't know about me, I'm a session guy who's played with a few people in my time in the industry. In prog world I hold down the drum chair with David cross from king crimson so I've spent a bit of time exploring time signatures and love a challenge

Mapex are making me a kit for Frost and for my upcoming clinic tours so I'm really excited

it's gonna be great to work with the guys and in true tradition I hope I can raise the bar for all the loyal fans of the band

once again thank you for all your kind words and I look forward to seeing you on future dates

best wishes
