A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
:D
That is quite brilliant. I have a problem though - it looks like I won't be able to make it. Due to the expensive nature of train fares and Travelodge combined, I don't think I can actually afford to get down to The Peel. I keep checking the National Rail website and the Travelodge one's broken at my end, but the prices I've seen don't look good. If I add it all up, it would become the my most expensive gig ever. Which is why I may have to pull out.
I'll give it a bit more thought, but at the moment, things don't look good. And I was going to bring me own curry...
that is so many layers of awesome. can we buy a copy or six from the Frost* store? please?
Hilarious poster. Too bad I can't be at the gigs.
(somebody bootleg it please )
Jen-ga! Jen-ga! Jen-ga!

But is Master King going to be erstwhile? Or is that just his mental faculties?
Mouse - the Yorkshire to Kingston Frost*ie Express can make a detour via Goole if that eases the pain on your wallet.
And Kingston Central is £52* at the mo. I'd offer to share but my snoring is, according to my wife, who has had first-hand experience of it for nearly 18 years, akin to "a vintage bulldozer trying to push Mount Everest over. In reverse."
* Yeah, it's expensive for a gig, so there'd better be some SERIOUS Frost*ie-partying had to make it worth it!
 Best. Poster. Ever!
Cracking poster. I'll be at both the Peel and Cardiff :D

Are you sure about that, RH? It would be marvelous and I'd be incredibly grateful (again), but only if you don't mind!

The downside is that your ears will be at the mercy of the strange and esoteric whims of my taste in music
And I might forget you're there and sing. Loudly.
Are any of the dates been recorded - even soundboard mp3s would be nice - I know I am greedy since TPE is out soon - I just dont have a hope in hell getting there and would like to hear the new arrangements :)
Fab poster!
The poster worries me.
"Three nights of wonderment and strangeitude in the company of other gentlemen."
Are ladies not permitted to attend, then? :( I feel excluded.

Just grow that ginger moustache again. Problem solved.

When I was down at The Peel at the beginning of September, Lord Twang said that they've been recording all of the past few shows in really high audio quality. All he needs to do is have a word with the bands about releasing them and they can be available somehow for all. And Jem's got that Open Labs wotsit which, to my understanding, can record and stream live audio. Although I don't think Jem would want to burden of recording and releasing three more live shows on top of
TPE. Still, the possibility's there, which is very exciting for future gigs. :)

I thought that the downside would be that, despite not knowing the words, I might choose to sing along too. Loudly. ;)

Take a leaf out of Monty Pythons' book and don a fake beard ... though you can probably leave the stones at home ! :D

Quote from: "eponymous"Indeed! Will there be Tesla Coils on stage?
Only if Jem's wearing a wig.
Which reminds me, I'd better get my false moustache ordered.
My Gawd! That's breathtaking.
damn cool.
You English-types get all the best gigs :(
On a positive note, that poster really is fab :D

I'll have to look into this steam punk thing. I reckon the Fantom's due for a new look soon. White and blue is sooo last album.

You'll
have to look into steam punk, in the future tense?
I was convinced that you'd faked that injury in order to give yourself more time to bulk up and grow those joined up mutton chops: you mean that's not actually you and JM on the poster?
I have lots of redundant antique ironmongery at the moment.
Better speak up or it'll be on the skip with th Danger Mouse tald!
Moustache ordered - I'll be there and I'll wear it with pride.

That is so cool. I think imagining a whole Fantom looking like that would be too much for my mind to cope with. *Drool* 8-)

Hmmmm.... steamprog... the possibilities are fascinating...
now that's a sight to behold!
Quote from: "eponymous"Hmmmm.... steamprog... the possibilities are fascinating...
no question that steam punk and prog go together, but it worries me that it would immediately become cliché somehow. just such a perfect combination that if it should happen, it might ruin both of them.
I don't know, I just got up from a nap...
I just can't believe the amount of greatness this sole thread contains. From a carnivale poster to a steampunk synth ? Come on, get outta here.
Myself being unable to attend any of these gigs, I hope some benevolent hero will tape/film/write/draw/sculpt one of these with his nails into a wooden Santa. That would make for a truly appreciated Frost*ing on my Christmas cake.

Steampunk inspired internet serial streamed here. (//http://www.riesetheseries.com/index.html)
Quote from: "Program Synopsis"Riese is a world of moral ambiguity and political intrigue.
A decimated land populated by characters from dreams and nightmares. Loyalties are ever in question, suspicion in the minds of all. The realm, however, was not always so cruel. Everything began with a peaceful nation called Eleysia.
The Kingdom of the Wolf, Eleysia was once prosperous due largely to the influence of Empress Kara and Emperor Ulric. This all changed when a coup d'etat, orchestrated from the shadows by a religious cult,
brought about a total regime change.
Taking the throne was Amara, the Empress's cousin.
A power-hungry tyrant, Amara immediately utilized Eleysia's wealth and power to begin colonizing the world, crushing nation after nation in order to unite the people under one banner. Even as she assaulted the world, an ominous, enigmatic group clearly wielded power over her. Called The Sect, they purported themselves to be the official religion of Eleysia, and began to spread alongside Eleysia's borders.
Since the coup, the land has begun to die, resources are dwindling and compassion is fading. Humanity itself is seen as impure. People have grown restless, almost feral. Rituals and mythology have resurged, and the darker side of mankind has begun to reveal itself.
The true horror of the world is not in how it ends, but what will become of mankind as it fractures. And yet, despite the impending doom, a single beacon of light shines in Riese. A mysterious wanderer, she travels with her wolf Fenrir across this barren land. Branded as heretics by The Sect, Riese and Fenrir will pause to aid those in need as they travel, but they must evade capture at all costs. As she flees, she'll piece together her past and her destiny, in a conflict that will hold the fate of this world in the balance - and the once peaceful kingdom of Eleysia will be the battlefield.
This is the world of Riese.
Found an add on facebook to this, thought it looked interesting........Where the steempunk come in I haven't a clue, guess you have to see it to find out!
