Roll up, roll up and view my Ten minute televisual montage of the Esoteric Evening at The Peel (//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9quK9p26Og).
I figured other peeps would cover the musical bits so I concentrated on filming the priceless glue in which the musical gems were set.
Enjoy! :D
Much appreciated. A special evening to be sure.
Thanks for the laugh. I always knew they were funny, but I never knew they were aslo comedians/actors.
Cairn is asleep now, and she has the flu, so I will wait until I get home from school today to watch. but it will be a looong day! can't waite!
It was truly brilliant stuff. Thanks Pedro for recording it! :)
Excellent work Pedro, many thanks!
That was brilliant Pedro! Made me smile remembering :D
One complaint - the best part of the Steve Hogarth phone call is missing...
Excellent - required viewing for any Frost*ie feeling fed up in 2010.
Was Tall Ships the best song?
@ashleaze:
"Do you dye yours? No, no, you'd never tell.
I will say this though Steve, you're over 50, get it cut, yeah?"
Yes, I did get it but it was an unintended casualty of the edit..trying to shave it all down to 10 mins. I faded it after the "badger" laugh...but when I realised I'd faded in the wrong place I simply couldn't face another 2 hour round trip exporting and uploading the whole thing at 2 or 3 on the morning. I still can't be bothered to change it now, and on the bright side at least Marrilofans won't get narky this way! :D
@L33VEY: Thanks. It's a tough call for best song. Tall ships was very well done in cut-down form.
thanks for sharing, Pedro! that was a hoot. I so wish we could have been there.
Thanks Pedders! This looks fab! I hope it makes the light of day as some bonus footage some day ;)
It really made my evening to sit and have a few laughs!

It still makes me laugh
The video is splendid without it.
sorry, see below!
It takes me long enough to sort, edit and trim my photos, so I can only imagine how long it took to edit that together, brilliant job as always Pedders, I spent yesterday afternoon watching it over and over whilst recovering from the 3am ferry after Threshold - great stuff and thanks for preserving a truly unique evening!
You are very welcome and the same goes to all the above and any that follow. :)
One is never fully sure how the posting of such material is viewed by the band (because they rarely comment either way) but hopefully it is as much a keepsake of the event for them as it is for us.
By the way - I learned from Tom's comment on the vid that the Intro music (Jiggoseum Japes) was done by our very own Frost*ie Beano and was part of the music what he did for the XBox 360 game "Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts". I think Jem cleverly added the football results overlay.
A quick search reveals that a CD of the music soundtrack for the game is available on Amazon for £6 here (//http://www.amazon.co.uk/Banjo-Kazooie-Nuts-Bolts-Original-Soundtrack/dp/B002IO0BBO) and probably at other outlets too. It would make a great stocking filler! :D

Tom mentioned that to me on Saturday night although I had kind of forgotten between then and now so thanks for the reminder :D
Cool!
