Title: Spectrasonics Trilian
Post by: Pedro on November 11, 2009, 11:34:25 PM
Spectrasonics have reworked their Triliogy Bass module into the new Trilian module which utilises the Omnisphere STEAM sound engine and apparently features a ludicrous number of samples per instrument (I think Eric says there's over 2,000 samples for one of the acoustic basses).

There are 4 demo videos here (//http://www.spectrasonics.net/instruments/trilian_videos.php) in which Eric coaxes some quite impressive/realistic sounds from the tool.

I got a mailshot about it so I thought I'd share.  :)

As always, if you watch the videos it looks and sounds incredible.
I can't comment on what it is like in real life (loading times, etc.).
This is nowhere near the wish list for me.
