Problem with Ikea is that when I have to go, I can usually only manage on a Saturday or Sunday, when the massed hordes from hell are also traipsing around. I was at the one in Delft on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago to get some new desks to plonk our shiny new 27 inch iMac (tasty) on, and the queue of traffic on the motorway trying to get off at the adjacent junction was so great, the motorway was shut :shock:
Perhaps I should go at 9am on a Tuesday morning once; it might be tolerable.
(Still, I have to admit that I quite like some of their stuff: very plain, straightforward, functional, and yet occasionally stylish. Surprisingly difficult to find in other furniture places; any cloggies on here know of any other good alternatives in the Randstad?)
Speaking of Christina in Holland, that reminds me: does anyone know whether Magenta are playing at Zoetermeer on May 1st? The Zoetermeer website says yes, the Magenta website says nothing. Any insider info?
@TA: Unofficially, the word is that Magenta are playing Zoetermeer on that date. Website updates tend to get held up by the pesky day jobs that those good people have to deal with. :o)

Catherine's poster reminded me immediately of one of the odder bits of film music on my iPod (ripped from a properly purchased CD, mind you), represented here by its original LP cover. I've never seen the film, but the music certainly has its moments (for good and for bad). Anyone else have this and/or seen it?

I don't know if there are plans for download sales but once the physical product is available you might be able to order it via Nellie (our wonderful shop keeper). This has worked well for far-flung Frost*ies before.

Unless he's also a reader / contributor here, can I suggest that you wait for the next time he's on the show and an RPWL track comes up before you issue your correction "live"? :twisted:
The other problem with the short commute and it being a prog show is that I often get to work or home halfway through a three-or-more-song set where I've thought "wow, that first one was great; I should listen out for the name of the band and track when Wilf reappears", but then you don't speak again until 12 hours later or even the following Monday ... :(
I wish there was some way of encoding podcasts with a real-time tracklist that appears on the iPhone / iPod as the current track's playing. Anyone know if this is possible? A fallback would be to enhance the tracklist you already provide, Wilf, with timings, so I can note the current time and then look it up when I get to work / home. (I don't think you can make the tracklist visible on the iPod, is there?)
[Edit: hmm, a quick google reveals that you can add chapter markers to MP3 files. Question would be whether these can have labels which would show up in a player ... Will investigate ...
Back again: as of 2007, it was held to be better to use AAC as a format to allow chaptering and track labelling as I'm after above. Is that still the case? Any reason why The European Perspective couldn't be in AAC format rather than MP3, Wilf?]

Can't really afford it - and as my entire dayjob career has been geared around PC support I've sort of got used to them. One day, maybe...
