Title: Karnataka
Post by: Dodie on March 29, 2010, 12:11:40 PM
Anyone had any thoughts about the new-look Karnataka's "Gathering Light" album?

On the fourth or fifth listen, I began to think some of it is really good. Maybe I'm just more taken with Panic Room and The Reasoning. But I'm curious to know what fellow Frosties make of it...

Nice to have the forum back, and I much prefer the brightness! All the best to Jem with his ongoing studio building project, etc.

All the best,

Dodie

I shall pick this up at some point.

One should never judge a book by its cover...and one should never judge a band by their stage costumes.
I saw Karnataka before I heard them and I'm ashamed to say I allowed it to not make a good first impression.
If I had heard them first I guess it wouldn't have been that big a deal. Guess it's another aspect of advancing years on my part.
Edit: I should add that I enjoyed their set and liked what I heard.

A good thing I heard Knight Area before seeing the bloke in the cape with a red keytar, then.
