There, I said it!
I just happened to pop on YouTube and watch a few bits of Jems attempt at 24 hours of working on mixing for eima and it made me realise how much I miss them. I don't mind admitting I'm a geek and love to see all aspects of the creative process and the ups and downs of it all.
I just hope that once Jem is all ready and fired up again that the good old frost reports will return also. No rush Jem if you're reading, the delicious blend of tea that is frost needs to brew a bit in order to maximise flavour I think we all understand that.
But long live frost, and the frost reports says I!
I think Jem said that the new DVD would contain a mahoosive Report-style documentary wotsit thingy. Although that may not be with us for some time yet, you've just reminded me that I need to go back and watch them all again. Now that will be fun. :D
I miss the reports too. In a perfect world, we would have a new one every day, but then Jem would have to become a full time video editor, and we don't want that, do we?
I love the studio diaries from the recording of EIMA. Lots of interesting geeky stuff about recording and gear, lots of exciting previews, and lots of fun. :D
All the videos are great. A lot of moments made me laugh until I nearly passed out.

which would in turn cause the Frost* reports to be "the Frost* Report Reports" and simply feature Jem editing the next frost report. Might not be quite the same.
I (like Mouse) may go through and re-watch them all. and who knows maybe by the time I've done that there will be some new ones, that would be splendid indeed!
I was thinking the other day, If Jem wanted some inspiration/motivation he could go and watch that cheeky little chap on planetfrost*
haha great idea, self-fuelling band! Perpetual motion.... Perpetual Prog if you will!

Sounds like my music playlist. 8-)
When I first got into Frost* I watched the reports in one sitting. The report with Jem trying to work out the Roland CR-78 drum machine made me cry with laughter and to this day is one of th funniest things I have ever seen!
Ooooh yes, the drumbox. Da da da da da da da da... gotta watch that again.

I believe that you have become accustomed to typing "Frost"! :)
There's a guy called "Pete Frost" who works in my office and, more than once, when I've mentioned him in emails people have asked me why I put a "*" beside his name!

Either that or I'm on a sugar high from the chocolate coated malted milks..... :D

Either way, this is the right forum for it!

Funny how that particular Frost* Report seems to be the one that a lot of people highlight. Indeed, it was after watching it (the first Report I ever saw) that I decided that yes, Frost* was for me. :D
My favourite one is on the EIMA bonus DVD - the one where Jem and JM are talking about the people at home watching - probably only 3 of them. I was watching it with my 2 sons as we were recovering from flu a couple of Christmasses ago. My younger son turned to me and said "How do they know there's 3 of us"?

I do not recall viewing this particular Frost* report... Mind pointing me in the right direction? Sounds like fun already.
That would be this one....
WARNING: Do not eat or (especially) drink anything while viewing Frost* reports - most computer displays are not splash-proof. You have been warned. :) We have to say that, gear has been wrecked in the past.

Yes. Tea does not go well up (or down) the nostrils.
No sir.

AH! This Frost* report! Da da da da da da da da! I have seen this one, but it was just as funny on the second(and third... and fourth) watching(s). I will still eternally wonder what exactly da da da da da da da da is. I agree with that one youtube comment- I'd like that on a shirt!

There was an mp3 around and a cover by eponymous, which is in my Frost* playlist
I also miss Jem's hair!

Haha I feel bad for even mentioning it now!!
Personally I would be happy to pay for a dvd of all the frost* reports, maybe a limited edition thingy for the store?

Odd, that. I was just wondering if anyone had done this...!
+1
Obviously, a full set would require lots o' disks, but I'd definitely be interested in purchasing the Frost* Reports on DVD.
Same here, definitely.
