It's very frustrating to be a music lover when a band this talented puts out so much excellent music, yet goes virtually unnoticed by the industry. Dropped by Geffen after one album, a cameo in the movie "Airheads" and several albums for Metal Blade only to surrender in 2000. They should have been huge.
"Space In Your Face" and "At The End Of The Day" are two of my favorite albums - by any band. I still get annoyed when I think about what could have been with these guys.
Anyone else familiar with the 'Boys?

Cool band indeed. Kings X fans should check 'em out (if said KX fans aren't already familiar with GC). :D
I can't imagine a KX fan not knowing GC. You almost can't mention one without the other.
I know I heard about them through Dream Theater (think they supported them on tour) but don't think I ever got around to listening to them
I've got the first two GC albums and there were moments of brilliance on both, the Kings X comparisons were always going to be a problem especially when KX didn't break big either...
Reunion dates just announced - Aug. 13-15 in Dallas, Austin and Houston!!
ALL FIVE members: Ben, Monty, Alan, Wally AND Dane!

I can only hope this leads to something more.
I saw them open for Dream Theater on the Images and Words tour in Syracuse.
I don't remember caring too much for them at the time but I was probably too serious
about prog music then.
GC are a much better fit with King's X.
