Post by: gr8gonzo on November 25, 2008, 03:25:19 AM
Okay, so who ended up with the smudged signature and what did Jem write in the booklet??

Didn't get the smudge, but I'm guessing my 'again please' was the first of the second batch.

Ah but the lack of smudge could be a forgery.

I didn't either! And when I saw it I was very glad I didn't, it's so sleek I wouldn't want signatures on it... Might bring the booklet to the Peel and carefully select a spot for the boys to sign where the signatures wouldn't be in the way. (:-P

I think Jem signed mine as "Andy Edwards" in big square letters.

My sigs all look normal. The only one I can actually read is "Andy", though.

Hello all...perhaps this is a nice time to chime in and introduce myself from across the pond!

I've been a Frost nut since Milliontown, but for some reason, just never posted on here.  Part of that might be I didn't even find the forum till the site makover  :P

Anyhoo, I don't have either, since my only copy of EIMA is the iTunes version (which is enough for me, since I'm still enjoying it and finding something new every time.)  This gave me a nice chance to ask about something though...a question I've had for quite some time ever since I tried to subscribe to Kerrang 6 odd years ago (not prog I know, but I liked them before they got odd.)

If you have listened to my epic blabbery to this point, I salute you, and present you with free pop tarts!  My stupid world-economic question is: How do I order a CD, or the like, from an online store offering items in English currency?  If a pop tart is 1 dollar, what is that in pounds - and, more importantly, how the heck do I get that toasted goodness?

If there's a simple way (which I hope there is) I would appreciate knowing.  I am totally humiliated that this is my first post.  Hopefully I can make up for it  :)

BTW: Thank you for posting those old songs on the toys forum...Marsupial may be the single greatest song ever made.  Greatness comes in simplicity, and dammit, that song is just the best!

cheers!

tiny ps:  Falling Down is my favorite song on EIMA, and I don't know why.  This useless fact is sponsored by Spam, the other OTHER white meat.

Welcome to the board!  :D

Doesn't PayPal somehow take care of all that money laundering malarkey?

Ah, Pop Tarts....another comestible that has sadly got worse as it has been newed and improved over the years. IIRC they were nicer and much more dangerous when they first appeared.

Welcome on board - and may the poor pop tart-lacerated and blistered roof of your mouth heal faster than the arpeggios at the beginning of DDD!

As the esteemed Rt Hon Dame Pedro von Horniman (Bt. (Hons)) has pointed out, Paypal - or your credit card company - will quite happily do the currency exchange for you.

Greetings, Mirror.  Might you be the same Mirror from the Touchstone forum?  PayPal should handle the dollar/pound conversion for you during purchase.  If you just want to know what the conversion is, you can find a currency converter on google.

I don't think this is a Pop Tart crowd, though.  Biscuits seem to be the order of the day.

Yeah, but after marrying Kevin Federline the fruit filling kinda went sour, dinnit?

Thank you for the hello's all :)

Sadly I am not the Mirror from the Touchstone forum - my name came from a lesser known dragon from a Dragonlance novel...though I'm also mistaken for a lovely piece of furniture  :(

I will try out the Paypal thing, though I was reluctant from some old security problems they had.  All things heal in time though, right?

I've watched all the PlanetFrost clips already, but I will order whatever I can to support Jem and the guys!  For all the work put in, that is the least we can do.  State-Side, I hope they solidify a drummer...I really want to see them at RoSFest!  That really would be my one chance to meet the Frosties...I shall knock on every wooden object in my house.

Sorry for bumping in to the smudgy thread...I shall bring you back.

My pop tart has an irregular smudgie on it.  It seems to say "biscuits suck."  I checked with the biscuits, and they told me I should check with the toaster streudels.  I think I'm getting the runaround here!

welcome, mirror!

Brown-Sugar-Cinnamon Frost*ed, please!

as someone else mentioned, your credit card will take care of the conversion, so you don't necessarly need to PayPal.

Even Dec's 'D' looks like a 'J.'  And I suspect TLD may have signed for Andy.  No drummer's penmanship is that good.   :P

Welcome Mirror, fellow US Frostie!

Pop tarts are fine by me as long as they aren't the Strawberry ones.

Kinda reminds me of the Twinkie Experiment.  I love how they had a control Twinkie that did nothing.  Brilliant.

I do have a lot of spare time, actually, but I merely read about the Twinkies experiments.  I didn't engage in them.  That would be silly.  I prefer Ho Ho's.  ;)
