Fontina's good if you've not had it, although not ideal for posting. Pecorino might travel and would make a nice change from Parmigiano or Gran Padano. But just don't ask for Dolcelatte - an entirely British piece of marketing.

My word for the week shall be: Conclude.

I am currently attempting to receive an appointment to West Point if any of you know what that is and hopefully I can wrap everything up and get accepted!

Wish me luck!

tom's the god of fine food and wine. I shall henceforth refer to him simply as Bacchus. I'm always amazed when i see him that he's not as wide as he is tall!

i'll have any cheese as long as it's not smelly - i'll have to carry it in my pocket at the Peel!! If i have any pockets. hmm. what to wear.... i have something lined up possibly for IQ but not for the frosties.

are we doing fancy dress?

I still have to decide... but if I decide to do the fancy dress I really need some help...

Sorry I'll be wearing which ever hoodie (Dream Theater or Frost* assuming it arrives in time) has the deepest pockets to fit a spare lens and a flash (strictly for pre and aftershow shots of band and Frost*ies)

eeeh flash? <makes sign of cross>

terrible for my double chins!!

i just throw everything in my trusty camera bag and sling it over my shoulder!

I normally take the camera bag but not having been to the peel I was worried things might get a bit crowded at the front and I don't want my bag getting in peoples way.  Plus if I have the bag I have the tendency to fill it and start thinking that maybe I'd be getting better shots with that lens and start swapping about to much.  So I'm going to try and restrict myself to one zoom lens and my trusty 85mm f1.8 should the light not be that great.

lights at the peel!

there are some more (crap) photos next to that one that will give you an idea of the setup in there, unless there have been some big changes x

Thanks for the link, think I might have to bring the 50mm f1.8 as well.  If you'd like to try the 85mm before purchasing one you are more than welcome to try mine at the peel.

A place at the front??.... that's what I like to see, wishful thinking  :D

maybe Twang could organise a Frostie rotor??

I'm leaving my camera at home, after previous experiences at the black holyness of Peel and just going to enjoy the music!  :D
