Just read this on another forum... I may have to try and get along to Wembley if I can possibly afford it!
QuoteAs some of you may or may not know already, Jean Michel Jarre is planning a large tour throughout 2009 and 2010. Initially, dates are being organised and negotiated for between April and June 2009, with the only dates (at time of writing) being confirmed for May so far.
The tour promises to be Jean Michel's largest yet, with venues being from smaller auditoriums of 3000+ seating, to full scale Arenas of capacities of more than 12,000! The tour will involve a new stage design, with some fantastic lighting effects, Hi-Def projections and videos, Lasers, and even Aero Productions have informed us that the Laser Harp will be involved also!
The tour has been confirmed as a Best Of tour, with tracks being performed from Jean Michel's entire back catalogue, but at the time of writing, Jean Michel and team have not decided on WHAT tracks as yet will or wont be performed, but Aero Productions have confirmed to us that NEW music will be written specially for the shows, with a POSSIBILITY that the new music MAY be incorporated into a future album, but this is in nowhere near decided on yet, as it's only an intention (plus said new music hasnt been written yet anyway).
Aero Productions official press release is as follows:
