What's up with his hair? Where did he come from? Did this happen on the xmas episode that I forgot to watch and then forgot to watch on catch up tv?

And Wife reckons he looks a bit like Prince Harry. And that's not a good thing.

Personally I'm not really all that sure what all the wailing and teeth-gnashing is about. Steven Moffat has scads of TV experience, has contributed some of, if not the best of the new-Who scripts, and I'm going to trust that he knows what he's doing with the casting until I see reason to believe otherwise.
Yes but apart from the last one, the choices have been fairly poor since Tom Baker IMO.
