Well, that's it, all over. No more gigs for TBE with Frost*.
Andy, you are and have been a star. Your drumming skills are superb, your improvisation when time needs filling is always imaginative and entertaining and to top it all off you're a lovely, lovely fella.
I just wanted to thank you for all that you have brought to Frost* and wish you success and happiness with all that you do and given your talent I'm very relieved that you will continue to record and partake in the creative process with Frost*
Andy, Thank You.
Oh yeah, ProgDog says with a little more effort you could be as cool as him 8-) 8-) :D
Amen! :)
WORD!
agreed!
And I hope Andy will take the opportunity to challenge the touring guy by recording impossible bits in the future. :)
Rock on!
Been lurking on the forum for a while, but after Andy's fantastic performance last night I just had to de-lurk for long enough to say "The Boy done good."
Good luck with the new career Andy; hopefully you won't be straying too far from Planet Frost*.
(I was going to label Andy's performance last night as "flamtastic", but I thought that'd be pushing my luck for a first post.)

Absolutely not pushing it too far, to be honest that is a bit hard to do round here.
Welcome to the forum and glad you "De-Lurked". It would be really cool if you stayed "De-Lurked" and joined in with the rest of the loonies(I mean that in the nicest possible way of course).
Andy was a bit good wasn't he?
Thank you Mr. Edwards! I've only just spotted this thread, so a more thorough thank you is in the CRS feedback one. Sorry about that!
Cheers mate! Good luck! :D
Definitely agreed! Thanks Andy! We hope to see more of you at some point, but until then... Enjoy your day job! (;-)
Top drummer
Top bloke
Good luck Andy, keep lurking around on here and let us know how you're doing ;)
Here here, well said, totally agree.
Andy played a blinder and well enjoyed by this Frost*ie :D :D
To a true musician: long may you drum!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Great gig last night I thought. We were a little under rehearsed but I thought there were some great moments. Saline was great live, Jem writes fantastic songs of course and they can go in so many directions.
Nice to meet some new frosties too.
I thought we did well in the awards as EIMA was only around for the last month of 2008. I was chuffed to come third, I think it's the first time I have even been thought of. I'm not really a prog drummer anyway.
So, yes, 2009! Here I come. Don't think I'm leaving music behind. But I like new challenges. I have played with Robert Plant and i've played with Nigel Hawthorne.
I've recorded prog rock and speed garage.
Here's to the new!
Ta Ta
Andy, I never got to give you a farewell hug last night, but the thought was there. All the very best.

From across the pond, good luck and all the best Andy!!!
-Brian
I have to say, it's not really farewell. He'll be on the DVD. And on future recordings. We had a good chat today while I was stuck in my 2 hour traffic jam. He's still very much a Frostie.
Honest! :D
Yahoo!
Joy Oh Joy!
So we will still get to see his cheeky little face :D
Good news indeed.
John In Black said it all really. Andy, watching you play live always makes me laugh one minute at your antics behind (and in front of) the kit, and the next I'm stunned into silence by your musicianship. I really hope it's not the last we've seen of all that.
It's been a genuine privilege to witness the racket you make first hand, and I wish you the best success in everything you do in 2009 and beyond.
There should have been one more award at CRS: Toppest Bloke. You'd have walked that! :D
TBE, you are as finest an example of limb independance I have ever seen or heard.
Good luck with it all.
PS - Apologies for being embarrassingly refreshed upon meeting you Sat night :)
Word!
Good luck teaching nubs how to REALLY play the drums!
And please do drop by every once in a while.
What everyone else said. Wishing you all the best.
Sorry I wasn't able to be there, Andy, for your "final" (sneakingly, I don't think any of us actually believe that's true for some reason or other ;) ) live gig with "The Frost*", as my seven-year old has taken to calling the band.
But nevertheless, I'd also like to take the opportunity to tip my hat in your direction, to thank you for the indelible part you played in the three cracking gigs I did see this year (Cardiff, Summer's End, and Peel), and wish you all the very best in your new endeavours. And to look forward to hearing you on Frost* 3, as seems quite likely :D
