...and it is goood!! :D
It is!!! Wouldn't sound too out of place on The Tall Ships, if that's not a rude thing to say...
It does have that kind of "feel" but that could be the JM influence (no clue if the track came out of the "writing session(s)" with JM?? It could probably fit in with Kino or The Urbane too IMHO but I hasten to add that is deffo a good thing in my view.

Not at all IMHO! Makes sense. :)
Nice song! 8-)
8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
Nice! Short and sweet.
Can't wait to hear 1976 :D

Wasn't the Forget You song a 'leftover' from the EIMA writing sessions which was still JG on its own?
Very kick ass! Other than myspace having a poor streaming quality, its a great listen! Jem is a Fu*king genus!
Ta all. you can see why it wouldn't have fitted on EIMA, but I like it nonetheless. A jolly little bit of fluff and a bit of an homage to Mr Sturmer and Mr Manning. :D
yeah i can see why it was not put on EIMA, but its a great track. :D
There really should also be a big THANK YOU to Jem for putting that up for us. :D

Ouch... that was just too big and I can't delete my post somehow :-(((
Modded the image down in size a bit....but it's the thought that counts!
That really was a big thank you. :D
I LOVE IT!
I love everything Frost* do. In public at least.. :P
No BUTT seriously. It's really good. Can't wait to hear the rest.
edit: meh @ myspace crapquality...
Yes, thank you v much Mr. Jem for another fine quality bit of instrumentation and vocalisation. I do love me Jellyfish, though I must say I did not sense their influence on that particular track. A straightforward rocker with elements of ELO perhaps. However, should you come in contact with Mr. Sturmer, do smack him with a trout for depriving the world of his talents**, will you?
**cartoon themes and J-pop do not equate to an Andy Sturmer solo album
Edit: Now I can't seem to stop imagining Andy Sturmer singing this. Feel free to collaborate. Somehow I don't think anything bad could come from it.
Now that's just a perfect example how to get addicted to a song!
Thank you Jem, makes me look that much more forward to the Munich gig. :D
Welcome Atwa!
I saw Yes in the Tollwood tent a few years ago, Frost* should be a great gig.
Enjoy yourself on here. :D
'King awesome! Thanks Jem! :D
Blimey!
Are the versions of songs on the MySpace page exactly the same as the album versions? I thought I spotted some slight differences in The Other Me and Dear Dead Days, but I could have been imagining things.
Ee by gum, that's a bit good isn't it? Cheers to you, Jem! :D
Although it is good to know that it's MySpace's rubbish compression and technical dealies that make the song I uploaded sound the way it does. I'm relieved it's nothing to do with Cubase, my laptop or the tune itself! :)
That's a bit special. Ta muchly.
Is that going on the DT special disc?
I still can't stop listening to this song. It's got such a good vibe. It makes me feel like it's summer already!
I'm guessing it will be released in the winter...
Short, sharp and spiky
The closest that I can place it to is 1976 Buzzcocks. Their short songs were supposed to be the opposite of prog - how the wheel turns..
Well Frost's not supposed to be entirely a prog band. i'd like to think we can nip about here and there from time to time and go exploring. Like Jellyfish or 10cc or ELO or sElf or Janey Child. ;)
Isn't that what prog's about? As much musical genres as possible. :P
LOL
Yep, prog will eat itself....it's the category that defies categorisation....no wonder it's so easy for people to dismiss it.... :(
what's prog?
Prog's a character from The Trap Door (//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9dbAQJIu1o&feature=PlayList&p=0B0A6D9BAA2E5DD2&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=4), isn't he?
A "Jellyfish meets ELO" Frost* album would not upset me in the slightest. Maybe Sturmer could do a cameo?
Oh, and wife says Prog is a city in the Czech Republic.
Isn't prog just like rog only quieter?
What a corker of a song ! One for the tour sampler CD ? :D
Pedro .. Prog Will Eat Itself .. like it !
One of Stourbridges' finest .. much like Mr Jowitt.
TFYS was actually part of the live set, so it's certain to show up on one of the live CDs, separate from the EP which should definitely be titled "Prog Will Eat Itself." :D

So frog would be like rog only louder, mfrog wouldn't be quite so loud, and ffrog would be deafening!
Quote from: "Pedro"Isn't prog just like rog only quieter?
No, no..prog is "Pro" but then "g"reater :)

Nevermind that... Did you know that when a Japanese honeybee hive is invaded by a giant hornet scout, the honeybees "bake" the hornet in a ball of about 500 bees (pictured)?

I didn't and I want to see the picture now!
You mean, like this....

....inconclusive, I'd say.
I mean, there could just be a Malteser in there for all we know.
....hmm....maybe this is how Maltesers are made.... :?
I knew that! It's the only way bees can kill a hornet, because a hornet's body temperature can't go as high as a bee.
Normally a hornet would kill a bee easily, but bees are smart like that.

Except the ones in the middle nearest the hornet!

That's Rogg. And stay away from that.......
Why can't you post a quote that is older than 1 page?

Yeah, I knew it was Rogg. Does that make Progg his older, louder brother?
And as for the quotes, well, I like to get 'em while their hot. 8-)
(I think. I might be missing something here. I can be thick like that. :P )
I've now confused myself. Scuse me while I go have a think...
This song is so catchy! Love the silence part. Thanks for sharing, Jem!

Sorry Lovely,
I should've put that bit on a separate post (about the quotes) I was rambleposting. It wasn't directed at you but as a general query. x :?
