Cirque de Soliel is over here at the moment - currently at the NIA in Brum I beleive. Was offered some tickets but it's not really my bag, even with NDV playing.
Why no UK gigs?! The last tour was blindingly good, despite that ramshackle support act.

Despite being a Spock's completist, I've never seen them live. So I hope there's a UK date too.

I shall be unhappy if they're holding the 17 September date for the UK date...........

Hehe I remember going to see Spocks beard at the Robin 2 last time when Frost were meant to be supporting. At the time I didn't know who frost were and was really just going to see spocks beard. I had some poor guy raving at me how good frost were and telling me about some guy called John Mitchell (?) only for them to have cancelled that show and so he sat in the corner next to the bar for the whole evening.

I'm surprised they're not doing the UK this time out. They rammed the London show we did with them, maybe it's a money/logistics thing.
I *think* it might have to do with Nick's Cirque du Soleil thing.
And maybe other venues were faster than the UK ones. A friend of mine who's promoting prog gigs in Rüsselsheim/Germany just asked for one of the open slots and got it.
