Title: Korg M50
Post by: Rudy on November 23, 2008, 05:52:09 PM
Probably waaay too soon to ask about this one, but I'm gearing up to buy some, well, new gear--and it's work station time!  Anyone out there had a look at the new Korg M50?  On the surface it looks like a stunningly good deal...

(I'm trying to restrain myself a bit-- ;) --I covet a Fantom G but really should be practical or some such thing, damn it all)

I don't know what the fuss is all about, it looks like a watered down M3...

An M50?
Looks pretty solid to me!  :)

And according to Korg, it only weighs 15 pounds!

AND it guarantees a bit more respect from your band mates: "no lip from you guys, now!".

Yes but the flight case for one of those things takes a bit of shifting....

"The M50 is a very old motorway, dating back to 1960. It's a quiet drive and it's arguably undeserving of its rather important sounding number. It does form quite an important link though, providing fast access between South Wales and the Midlands along with the A40 and A449."

Sounds like a vintage bargain :D

Isn't the A440 (//http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A440) involved?

Typical of this country to ruin the whole thing for a few cents of pitch...
