I figured it might be worth having a separate place for :-
1) people who have spare tickets to let people know.
2) people who need tickets to declare their interest.
It might be a naff idea, it might help....let's see.... :)
I suggest we keep the thread fairly simple, handle all the negotiations or whatever via PMs.
If you have spare tickets please post a message to say how many you have and specify any conditions that you wish to stipulate in advance. I guess face value sale would be "nicest" but so long as no-one is taking the haddock with the asking price things should stay cool. If you want to look through the thread for someone to sell to, I guess the earliest post would be the "first come"....but, hey, they're your tickets.
When you reach the point of not having spares anymore, please post again to say so AND edit your original post to make it clear you no longer have any.
If you need tickets, please post a message to say so and check through the thread for any still open offers and contact the seller(s) via PM. If/When you have secured the tickets you need, please post again to say so AND edit your original post to make it clear you no longer need any. It might be good if buyers don't keep bumping their interest.
Hope this is worth trying...if anyone knows that this is a bad idea, let me know and I'll tear it all down.

Yes it has. Not sure of its exact capacity (Twang can advise) but I think it is around 200 - 250.

Depends on the gig, It only takes about 200 of us fat, middle aged proggers to fill it where as for an emo gig capacity can increase to up to 700 skinny oiks!

here's the kicker, though- i only have two tickets reserved with the Peel and desperately need to locate a third so my dear mother can experience all that is Frost*y and good. can anyone help me out with that?

There was talk among the Frost*ies on the fishtank and the question was raised as the peel bar is open before the gig why go anywhere else?
Personally as the peel is a bit of walk from the travelodge stopping off for a half way pint sounds like a good idea to me :lol:

Well, blow me down... suddenly arrived to find all this Frost*y type stuff has been going on and I knew nothing. At this point in time... having passed the various pre-requisites I am still scheduled to go in for an in and (hopefully) out repair on the 15th. However, I'm still hanging on to the last minute just in case things get cancelled. So, if you still need a ticket or two late in the day, check back here on the evening of the 15th, I may be able to help. I should be able to arrange for the tickets to be available locally at The Peel on the 16th.

I've got two, including my own, but my ever-so-lovely girl friend who's supposed to be coming with me fell off her horse in a particularly spectacular manner yesterday and it seems she may have broken her foot. Dozey mare. (Abi that is, not the horse).
I shouldn't laugh I know, but it was particularly funny to witness, though she's gutted that she may be off her feet for a few weeks I did point out that missing the AGM was a far worse price to pay than having to put yer feet up all over xmas.
Anyway, given it's this close to the gig and I'd like to cheer her up I figure that if she can't come I'll offer the spare up to the highest bidder and Abi can treat herself with the proceeds. PM an offer and highest bidder by say 9pm wednesday evening (GMT) will get the ticket. Obviously collection at the gig only but I'm definitely going, even if I break all four limbs and will be around from late afternoon/early evening for coffee/pub/random meetup before the gig to sort it out.

TWO tickets available thanks to your old Uncle Brom. My acquaintanceship with a faceless man wielding a scalpel happened today, and so, although it all went well I am really too sore to do any travelling at the moment, and certainly won't be able to drive.

Its all gone a bit tits up here. I was previously going down to Kingston with my gf but she broke up with me last week and despite saying that she still wanted to go at the time she has decided tonight that she doesn't any more.
Her loss as we all know :D but this has really put a spanner in the works. I have asked a friend if he wants to come and is looking to see if he can swap a shift but if he can't I will have a spare ticket. I will be finding out tomorrow to watch this space.
