I was told about this band by a friend of mine...
The musician line up is very impressive(Adam Wakeman(Rick Wakemans son.. plays with Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath at the mo) - Keys, Damien Wilson(Threshold, Star One) - Vocals, Lee Pomeroy (It Bites, Take That and many more)- Bass, Richard Brooks (Go West, Sugarbabes, ABC etc) - Drums, Pete Rinaldi - Guitar).. and the band sound brilliant.
Really enjoying the cd at the moment...

Highly recommend having a listen :D
Very nice! I read an interview with Adam and have been keen to get a bit of a listen in on the album. Sounds like it doesn't disappoint.

Saw them at Summer's End, very professional, rather serious, but very good.
Must get the album to go with the EP.
Been listening to the c.d for quite a while now and i can say it is very very good indeed, much better than the e.p its a grower for sure.
p.s also just bought tickets for the borderline in september, i do beleive they are playing the complete album. :D

You'll be telling me next there's no Spice Guitar

Commendation accepted - Like it
Wow, loved it :D
Can't stop playing it out.
I can't believe I didn't come back here to rant about the album sooner.
I got it at Celebr8 and it is belter for sure.
It took a few listens (as all good albums do) but it really had got so much to offer.
The light and shade balance is really good and the playing is top notch.
There's a theme they use briefly in the first track that is a future echo of a melody from the track Soldier...I didn't "get" that until the third or fourth listen but I love discovering things like that.
Going to see them in Leicester later in the year, can't wait, it should be brilliant...unless they play all new music that I haven't heard cos then I'll be back to square one!
If you like Threshold, Dream Theater or similar then you will like this. :)

Agreed. It's similar, but quite unique ^^
Wish I could hear it, but it's not available in the U.S.
Scratch that. Turns out it is available from Amazon, just not iTunes US. Listening to samples as I type this. Hmmm...

Is that a Hmmm, interesting, Hmmm, Not sure I like this or Hmmm WTF is this!!
I suspect it is a hmmm of "not sure".
As with Threshold or Dream Theater, it is easy to say "oh, metal, don't like".
I can hear loads of nuance and cleverness throughout the album but you do have to want to like it in order to invest the time for 3 or 4 listens.
If you're just not into Prog metal-ish stuff then you won't want to spend the time.
Well said, Pedders. I think I like what I'm hearing. I'm fresh off listening to the new Bad Salad album and the new Threshold single, though, so I'm just trying to decide if I have room for more of this style in my noggin atm*.
*this acronym stands for 'at the moment.' I do not presently have cranial cash dispensing capability.
Have to admit I very much like it but I'm very much into metal, prog metal and some thrash and all that probably more than most round these parts. Then again I likes me Punk rock as well.........not sure that qualifies me for an opinion :)

That would make you a well popular chap, even more than you are now! Just think of the possibilities..........
I really can't get into it. Bought it at Celebr8 and had it in the car for a while but it just seems to either irritate or wash over me. Probably doesn't help that i don't really do the chugga, chugga Dream Theater widdle frenzy stuff. But i didn't even click with the other stuff either. I will perservere, but i have a feeling its not going to be for me.
Fair go, it's a broad church. :)
I just find the album to be much more than the chugga/widdle stuff.
Just listen to Soldier on its own. Piano and voice. It's nice, just piano and voice...unless you don't like Damian's voice, in which case, like people who don't like Geddy's voice and so don't like Rush, you are not going to like any of it.
Then listen to track #1 up until that theme is carried by the guitar lead. Listen to the chords behind it...they're lush.
However, I'm sure it's possible to like just about anything if determined, so maybe I have just decided to like it. :)
Have had the album for a couple of weeks now, am really liking it. Shades of Dream Theater, even Tool and Opeth Brilliant stuff
