Not sure if everyone can read that but here's what it says:
"New album underway. JM, CB and NK all in. Release scheduled for '16. Writing nearly complete, recording in Autumn. :) "
Oiks!!! ;D ;D

totally understand. :)
all I know is that when he starts to talk about something, usually something happens eventually. ;D
Nope, this is happening. And I mean REALLY happening. :)
As in - "British Wintertime", "Exhibit A", "Clocks Go Back", "Heart Of Violence", "Numbers" - happening. :)
Great to hear, boss! ;D

Came into work this morning with the prospect of a difficult day ahead. Just seen this and now have a spring in my step again! ;D

And as our official media tart make sure you supply TA with appropriate merchandise for when he's on Newsnight again, discussing...um, well hopefully something about space and stuff rather than the last show
Well I go to the foot or our stairs! ;D
This totally made my day today!
Craig Blundell has confirmed on his facebook page that he'll be recording in between his clinics and the next leg of the Steven Wilson tour in September.
This has gotten very real, hasn't it?
Trying not to get overexcited. ;D
I am so incredibly excited by this. Nice to see you pop by on the forum too Mr G :)
Really, really looking forward to it!
It's a bit like a weird dream, I haven't full accepted it yet ;)
Great news - especially as it seems to be more concrete than 'we'll be doing a new album' - recording schedules, possible song titles etc.
More importantly, good to know that Jem is seemingly in a Frost* = Good frame of mind.
More power to yer Guv ;D
I Just Pee'd a little... ;D
I'm off on hols this week, and this is great news to be heading off too!
Very, if patiently, excited :D
:) As album announcements go, it's a gud'n.
This is where I intended to derail this thread with a copy/pasted Wiki about turtle mating, but on second thought, I think I'll just bask in this lovely news a bit longer.
Huzzah with a capital huz! Where did you see that Rojerk? I'm on Jem's FB and didn't see it there. These are however most joyous tidings! :)

that's the best ever, and actually, I don't think anyone has ever called me that! amazing after 53 years! ;D
As for the announcement, I think I saw it first on twitter. ;)
I always hoped that a bit of patience would pay off.
Plus more release news on FB...
Heartstrings, Lantern, Fathers (and Signs) will be kept for a supplemental EP release as they don't fit with the story.

I'll send him a couple of packets of Tim Tams from Australia if that will help with the album. (Joking, but not really joking)

Still, if you can play a gig with a broken finger, I'm sure a little warfarin won't delay the album. Much.

Nice.
Wondered where Heartstrings would end up?
Signs was awesome at Celebr8.3 when they first played it. Can't wait to hear that one again.
Signs is only half written currently, it's supposed to be an 7 or 8 minute track, but we ran out of time on the day we were writing it. :o
We'll finish it before we record it.
What about Clouda? Is that ever likely to see the light of day?

Shirley if you record it, by default it's finished ;)
I saw mention that "Lights Out" may possibly be included. It's a luffly track. What're the chances?

WHAT!
YES.
Yes please.
I'm so excited!
nice to see you, Rob!
Got my tickets for next year so I'll see y'all in real life too :) Are there curry plans for after this gig? Or am I jumping the gun by about 6 months?
So..... what does this mean then?!

Maybe they meant any chance of new release at the gigs? Or will the currently-in-the works one be out by June, and there's no plans for one after that?

sarcasm, I would guess.
Maybe Francisco Neira has been blacklisted from Frost* albums for unimaginable crimes against prog?
He is not allowed the new album.
Back luck, Frankie.

I'm not sure how many times I can say "WE'RE MAKING A NEW ALBUM!! HERE ARE SCREENSHOTS OF THE PROTOOLS PAGES TO PROVE IT!!!!"
:)
He gets surprisingly good wifi under that rock. ;)
I've been guilty of asking someone for directions to the place where I was standing before, though, so it does happen. "Begging your pardon, man behind the curtain, but might you know the way to Emerald City?"
Maybe he meant to ask if you were recording a gnu album. No one would find that beyond the scope of possibility.
Him say May (in his latest blog). With videos :o And he's losing a song :( :( I deffo think there should be a 12 inch special edition with the disco remix that has the runt of the litter in it) ;D Please?
Blunders posted some great pictures of his drum kit for the new record today, on Facebook and Instagram. Whee!
;D
Indeed - and a 20 second video of some tasty groove or other as well.
I see the EIMA 'no toms' rule has been (ahem) relaxed for this album!!!! ;)
I thought we agreed this album was going to be toms only. Bloody prog.

Oh dear, what have you started?
Tom(my) Vance on the broadcast mike, Tom Jones on vox, the other Tom Jones (or perhaps the same one?) on general lechery, Tom Thumb on triangle, Tom Tom Club on Talking Heads wackiness, Tom & Jerry on cartoon capers, and my son's bezzie TomSka on more cartoon capers:

Maybe we could get TomSkerous out of retirement for this?
We could put Tom Bola in charge of fund-raising, Tom Tom can drive and Tom Brrr can make Frost*ie sounds...
(that sound you can hear is a barrel being well and truly scraped)

No, no, we're having too much fun.
The Frost*ie tradition is to drag these things on until the Sun'll come up, Tom Orrow might say.
Then again, this thread might end up as a horribly long and turgid piece of prose if we continue. Isn't that right, Tom E?

But I am not leaving this room until you have substituted the proper Tom Mitchell, Bristol-based musician.

This game could go on forever (and long may it do so). I mean, who knew that the long-time leader of The Enid has the nickname Tom?
