On the subject of biscuits might I take time out to say that the short beads that "Nellie" made for saturday night were scrumptious, my mum thought the one I "found" in my handbag on sunday was a shop bought one. Prog dog was very thankful for the 3 that he had too...

A modicum of Vodka and lemonade (Yuk, but it was all that was on offer) and a bagel later and I am well on my way to being sozzelled. ( is that how you spell it I'm too much of it to know)?
Just listened to EIMA on the way home and I am feeling no pain.
JiB is sober and of course a boring old fart compared to me.
Celebrated 2 18 year olds coming of age and this oldies 46th Bday which I missed due to a stonking Migraine.
Hello to all and a merrily bank holiday to you all, hope you join me in my appreciation of the alcoholic stupor that I intend to find this weekend.
 :D  :D  :D
Hope Rosfest was all you hoped it would be be and that you enjoyed it.

Quote from: "Nellie"On a happy note re childbirth......I'm NEVER doing that again!
I said that 20 years ago and I've kept to it!

I had a camera up the back passage when I had an ulcerated sphincter and then surgery soon after. I can say that the camera was worse than the baby thing...the camera went in and I was laying on my side I jumped and the ceiling got closer ( I swear)     the surgery was bliss!
I would rather have a baby then have to go through  an ulcerated sphincter again
THATS SAYING SOMETHING

Congratulations to both of you for loosing so much weight the right way.
I have lost over 5 kg in the last 2-3 months but I have done it the wrong way by not eating.
I have found over the years of trying loads of different diets and healthy eating plans that once food passes my lips in the morning for breakfast all I want to do is eat for the rest of the day and I obsess about food constantly. This time I don't eat all day and then I can have want  I fancy for dinner without feeling guilty for eating something unhealthy or "bad". I have passed on chips when John and Sam have them or my dog eats them  if they are on my plate. I have also made a concious decision to leave food on my plate at the end of my meal, this seems to have had the effect that I feel full sooner so don't miss the food. I'm not hungry any more and I have also found I don't crave foods either so this time it seems to be working and I am now weighing less than I have for 10-15 years  and am getting close to what I was when I got married 21 years ago. I hope I will be even less in November for our 22nd anniversary. :D
