What ho chaps!

Want to get back in to recording, but the days of a 4 track and a blank 90 minute cassette are over!

However, I don't have the PC hardware, experience or the cash for something like Pro Tools.

So - what do you think is the best budget (no more than say $150) PC software for making/mixing demos? I've seen mixed reviews for both Sony Acid Studio and Cakewalk (which also seems to have Vista problems...hey who doesn't?).

How about also doing the same as EIMA and offering a signed version too? I know NDV won't be able to sign it, but I for one would be very happy having a signed copy from the rest of the guys to put on the shelf beside my signed EIMA & signed gig CD

I'd second that - that show was tremendous, and I'd be terribly disappointed to only have half of it. I can't wait to buy a signed double CD, DVD package, and get a few more of those qualidee RoSFest t-shirts!

A thought occurred to me this morning whilst in the shower (no not that...); how is it that Frost can make a one-off quality t-shirt in a limited run, and sell said shirt for a reasonable $25, whereas "big name" acts that print tens of thousands of generic tour shirts price them at $35 and up? I suppose the easy answer is they are greedy gits...

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks Jem and the boys for a qualidee product at a reasonable price! Nicely done!
