Would be good to see these, especially the first one which is one of your greatest bits of keyboard playing IMHO.

I am blown away by this - far stronger than anything I've heard them do before (and The DIfference Machine was an excellent album.)

I don't suppose Jem took any video footage of his solos? Now that would be something I'd like to see.

I really miss the blog. Twittering is ok (although Jem seems to have stopped that at the moment) but a blog allows a more considered approach to writing about life and music and stuff.

I hope the blog is resting rather than over.

I thought Davis' re-mixes were, on the whole, very good. There' was an awful lot of audiophile nonsense on various sites about them which ended up in one of the main complainers altering the words of an e-mail exchange with the mastering engineer to try to 'prove' his point that a vast amount of audio compression had been added at the mixing stage.

Having said that, the new box is disappointing. I can't imagine why Genesis and their management are so penny-pinching about it (no SACD, limited bonus material) as they are so completely loaded that I would have hoped they would have focused on artistic merit rather than making a huge profit.

The video box could be interesting, but I suspect it'll be a little half-arsed again.

Somewhere in the fine print of the Inside Out contracts I imagine. The danger of this is it devalues music. The upside is it makes it more accessible.

I like it, but I like Frequency more.
